A Refreshing, Kid-Approved Favorite: My Top Electrolyte Pick!
This is one of my favorite electrolyte drinks! It’s made by a reputable brand, has a very flavorful taste without any chemical aftertaste, and even has a slight carbonation texture that makes it extra refreshing. It’s also kid-approved, which makes it an even bigger win in my book. The combination of quality, flavor, and feel easily makes this one of my top choices for electrolyte supplements.

Very pure product that works
I really like this product. I like my products as pure as possible. I see some people don't like that it doesn't dissolve completely, but I like that they are not adding agents to make it dissolve. I think why it could taste odd to some is that it isn't sweetened. I have another one I use and after a month or so it sticks together from the sugar content. This product does not do that. You know the extra energy you feel is from the product vs sugar content. Yes, A little bit is left undissolved in the last swallow, but that really does not bother me. If you have ever used pure green raw stevia for example, that doesn't dissolve either. The purest of products don't has been my experience. Ordering my 6th tub now. It is my favorite one out there.

Worst tasting thing EVER
This “lemon-lime” flavor tastes absolutely TERRIBLE. Literally could not finish a serving, even when diluted by extra water, and I’ve been known to be able to chug some fairly disgusting concoctions in my life. Absolutely awful. It kinda tastes like you’re drinking a cleaning solvent. I’m calling it a loss and dumping the entire container. 🤮🤮🤮🤮

Does not dissolve...no matter what...
As other folks have said, two drawbacks for me. Taste is a bit funky - hard to put my finger on it but it just has an odd taste and definitely has an after taste. I could live with that as many of these types of powders have weird tastes. But the dealbreaker is it's lack of dissolvability. No matter how much you mix it, there is always residue at the bottom of the cup. Even after adding additional water or other liquids and stirring aggressively; always something in the bottom. And it leaves a chalky residue behind on any container you use - which does not come off easily. So the fact it never dissolves completely and leaves a residue, I wonder what's being left behind in me...

Worth trying!
I have recently been in the hunt for a good electrolyte supplement to help with hydration for workouts and everyday life. I’ve tried some familiar brands that most know such as Liquid IV, Drip Drop, LMNT, BPN, Skratch, NUUN, etc. so i wanted to give Thorne a shot.First impressions of the taste, it is mild and has an odd after taste with somewhat of a chalky feel. It’s not horrible by any means, but usually when drinking something with loads of sodium, i expect to taste the saltiness and this doesn’t have that sensation. Be honest, i probably will finish the bottle but won’t get another. As far as performance goes, there isn’t some kind of huge performance boost that I’ve felt but i will say i do feel more hydrated and haven’t cramped during any HIIT or endurance runs and that’s a win for an electrolyte powder.Recommend you give it a go if you’re also hunting for your new go-to electrolyte powder.

Okayyy
Tastes like a liquid vitamin which isn’t pleasant but I got it for the benefits and not the taste.

Excellent micronutrient mix, lacking elsewhere
I got this powder as a way to combine my electrolyte and multivitamin supplementation and while the micronutrients fit the bill for me, the essence of the powder is poor.Taste - 4/10. I never had the old formulation but the current formulation is not the best taste. It's like that meme, "We have _____ at home." This is "We have lemon lime flavor at home." It is lemon lime flavored but seems like it is missing some of the robustness. Also, it almost tastes carbonated which was odd at first but I've gotten used to.Mixability - 0/10. This is really a binary for me, either it mixes or it doesn't. I use a motor powered bottle so I know the mixing is consistent with other powders and even if I do three rounds of mixing there is always some unmixed powder at the bottom. It's not significant enough to be a deal breaker for me but at the end of the day, it doesn't mix fully.Formulation - 9/10. This is where this product excels at ultimately might be why I keep purchasing it. I already consume salmon regularly and get plenty of sun. This means typical Vitamin D supplementation, in the 1,000+ IU range can actually lead me to having too much Vitamin D and having negative side effects associated. This not having any Vitamin D in it is perfect for me. It also doesn't have vitamin K but when this is paired with Thorne's Vitamin D/K drops, it's a non-issue. The removal of it from the powder allows me a little bit of flexibility on whether or not I get Vitamin D/K, which I may not need to supplement. Considering a serving is about 5 cents for the drops, it's a no brainer!Where it loses a point is in the potassium amount. The best amount to avoid adverse effects of sodium is to have a 3:1 sodium-to-potassium ratio. This is over 5:1 and would need to add 66 2/3 mg of potassium to reach that ratio. There's an easy fix in the form of a banana with it but at the end of the day this does fall short on the electrolyte replenishing aspect because of that.Summary: Taste is close to good but not quite there. It doesn't mix fully. The formulation is nearly perfect.
