I have small children. One will only eat the frosting because the cupcake itself is very dense. The other one can only consume one and calls it quits. So I always end up with two. I buy them when I need them only because we haven’t found a better alternative. Taste is appealing for a child. They’re not bad, just not something to rave about.

These are my favorite store bought cupcakes! So yummy, sweet but not overly sweet. Little dollop of frosting on the inside. We put these out for my daughter's bday and no one could tell they're vegan. Everyone loved them!

Tasty, beautiful vegan cupcakes in a pinch. The downside for me was the crazy amount of frosting on the cupcake… also I refrigerated them before, but I don’t think that was necessary - they were too hard and dry. It was probably better to leave them at room temperature on the day we ate them.I feel like my first preference will always be vegan cupcakes from a local bakery; if I’m at Whole Foods I’d probably pick out their vegan cupcakes… but when I order, I feel like Rubicon is a good choice because they’re packaged and branded so you know exactly what you’re getting. Just don’t let them get too hard, keep them soft.Note to rubicon: you don’t really need all this frosting, do you??

I love these cupcakes. I don’t eat dairy so finding baked goods that don’t have it in a store can be difficult. These definitely meet my expectations and I buy them every time I’m at Whole Foods
