I have had so many curling iron brushes and can positively say that this is the best by far curling iron that I've ever had. I really like that the bristles move. I've never owned one that does that. On my previous irons the bristles would break off. And my hair is very thin. I don't give 5's out very often but I think this will be worth it.

I have recently changed my hairstyle from a shoulder-length pageboy to a medium-length bob. I needed something to give some lift to the back and crown without creating curls. This does the trick. I blow my hair dry while this is heating, then a few minutes lifting, straightening, and flipping the ends, and I'm ready to go. The next day, I give a quick flip to the ends, and I'm ready to go! I love that fact that the "bristles" are smooth plastic so they don't snag or tangle in my hair. I have received many compliments on my new style, and this helps me maintain it beautifully. Very convenient. It heats quickly. You can lock the heat setting so you don't accidentally change it. It's easy to shut off, and turns itself off automatically should you forget.

This curling iron is good quality. You need to know how to use it. You must use a flip at the end of the hair or keep it going down for a straight look or it may get tangled. Do not roll your hair around it like a curling iron that is a clamp style. Use a small chunk of your hair and feel it out to get the look you want. I love this as an alternative to a clamp style curling iron as it does not damage as much. It gives me big waves and takes out massive frizz. I really like the product.

I have owned a few of this type of curling brush, but if I had purchased this one first I could have saved myself a lot of money!Amazing product! I have naturally curly (wavy) fine hair that insists on sticking out in every direction except where I prefer. This curling brush is a magic wand in making my hair go in my preferred directions. Thank you for this great invention!

It is hard to find a 1-inch electric curling brush..the last one burned my scalp..So I tried the Swan Mist...took a little figuring on what temp I should use,,and how to get it to stay at the temp, so be sure to read the directions...But it works well..I have fine short-ish length hair. I use the 265°° setting...it does not burn my hair or scalp. The tip is large enough that it doesn't burn my fingers. It also releases my hair easily. The only negative I would insert is that it has a bit of a "heavy" feel...a bit heavier than my last one.

I am growing my hair out from a short style. The “in-between” phase is always tiresome, but this styling brush has helped me deal with it. With this tool I can easily smooth out wavy locks that are trying to go the opposite direction I want. I can even sleep on my hair wet, wake with hair that looks flat on one side or even sticking up all over my head and I can tame it in a matter of minutes. I also like how it heats up to temp in a minute and it’s ready to go. Well worth the price.

Color me a bit ambivalent. I love the results it gives, but there is a design flaw that drives me bonkers! The on/off switch is right where your thumb rests while taking this through your hair, and I have to turn it back on 2-3 times each time I do my hair! If it took just a bit more force to activate that button or to cycle through the settings, this might not be such an aggravation.

Very happy with this. My only small complaint is that I wish the barrel was a little smaller, 1 inch is a little too large. But, it heats up quickly and does not tangle in my very fine, thin hair. Hopefully it lasts longer than a few months which is the experience I've had several times with the Conairs I was previously using.

Only one setting somewhat works. I don’t recommend it.
