This lens hood looks really great on the Sony 24mm f1.4 GM. It fits snug without any play. The material and color match the lens very well. I think it matches better than the hood that comes with the glass.The build quality is the main appeal. It’s made of a a single piece of machined light weight metal. This hood is replacing my stock petal style because it is more compact and takes less time than taking off the petal flipping it over and removing my lens cap. Overall the form factor is smaller and more sleek looking. Stays on secure and does not stick out as much as a filter thread hood. The build quality is high quality and fits well. Made of metal and so I feel more secure that it will last and protect my lens but it does add a little more weight. Really like this and highly recommend
