I blanket is comfortable. The pockets of beads are small enough to keep the weight evenly balanced, but large enough that you don't have big clumps of beads sitting on your. The fabric is soft and the blanket is warm.I bought this for my grandson, who has autism. He often has trouble sleeping and I thought this would help. It did! He covered himself, and got the most peaceful smile on his face, and said, "mmm, comforting." He gets to sleep easily and sleeps very well.I am buying another one for me. I know it will help on those anxiety filled nights and the nights when I have insomnia.I highly recommend this blanket.

I just received this yesterday and used it last night. I was skeptical , but this works. I immediately felt a calmness when I put it over me and slept like a baby last night. I am very petite so I chose the lightest weighted blanket but I actually could have used a heavier one. Everything is weighted and distributed evenly. I am very pleased

I was pleasantly surprised with this blanket! I purchased the 12 lb blanket as recommended (10% of body weight). It came in it’s own carrying bag and was also packed into a vinyl bag. The material feels like good quality and is soft and comfortable. The weight is evenly distributed and, like others I’ve tried, it does not shift inside the blanket when moving around. The weight stays distributed throughout the night! I have been using this for about two weeks now and it has really improved my sleeplessness and restless legs.Only downside I have noticed so far was that the zipper on the bag comes apart easily. However, i made this purchase for the blanket and not the bag. :)

I had no idea that liking the weight of several blankets was a thing until several months. For decades I would have 5 or more blankets/quilts to bury myself under. I struggle with anxiety and this is one of the comforts I turn too. The blanket gives my whole body a hug. So comforting! It's the weight all together in one blanket so making the bed is much easier. I could have used this many years ago.

This blanket was super soft! Weighted enough but not too heavy where it’s uncomfortable. I never really understood the purpose of a weighted blanket so I decided to try it out and its actually quite comfy.. I was a little hesitant because of the reviews saying the beads exploded in the washer/dryer but I followed the instructions and haven’t had a problem with it.
