Perfect to light a really dark area - or photography powerful and looks nice
The media could not be loaded. In video it does not look bright but I can assure you it is very bright if your using it for photography it is perfect can light a whole room very good - the reason why I have taken this video is cause of the noise that comes from the light - for those that’s wondering what the noise is, I am also experiencing read other reviews it seems I’m not the only one - i gues its normal since it makes the room really bright . For me for what the product is I say is perfect except the noise, in terms of size and durability it looks good and I think it will last and it’s good value for money I think is worth this price since it’s looks like good quality but like I said the noise is ….. Functionality is on point works the way it should work - like I said for photography is perfect a normal uk sized room will be fully lit making it look like day light but consistent. So far I recommend it.if for any reason the light breaks sooner then expected I willUpdate the review for others but so far is good except the noise

Overall I'm pleased BUT the bulb is not quite as bright as I expected....
It is claimed that this 50w warm white (3000K) bulb pumps out 6,000 lumens of light but -- very strangely -- in use it seems significantly dimmer than its predecessor, a 40w white (6000K) bulb, which claimed it was emitting 5,400 lumens. However, even if not as bright as I was expecting, this new bulb is perfectly fit for my purpose and I find the warm white 3000K light hugely more appealing and far less harsh than the old 6000K white light.P.S. I have this bulb is in an outdoor lantern above my garden gate. It is said to have an integral fan but I have not heard this activate during the current (January) cold nights so I still don't know how loud this fan is when it spins into life. However, since it is nowhere near my house, fan noise (for me) is of no consequence at all, but it might be relevant to others if the fan noise is close enough to be disturbing.

I like the brightness and i dislike the noise coming out from it.

Dazzling white light.
Quite a long bulb body and more weighty than most. The banks of LED's necessitate a built in cooling fan which naturally makes a bit of noise, not so good when reading. I bought this lamp to enhance display of my fossils and minerals when showing them off to friends, so it is fitted to a table lamp assembly with a down lighter reflector (this ensures the light goes where it's wanted with a sharp cutoff to avoid dazzle). Of course less powerful lamps may be adequate for displays, but us over 60's need a bit more light as well as glasses to see things like we used to.

Rubbish quality!!!!
Quality was very poor on adapter to E40 waste of time and money!!!

Good value & performance.
I used this in a street light which was designed to have a 150W SON lamp installed. It did have a 80W LED lamp in it before which failed after a relatively short time. The 80W lamp was three times the price, but it did not seem to be much brighter than the 50W. Hopefully it will last a lot longer the the previous one which was from a well known brand Venture Lighting.

FAR TO LOUD FOR INDOOR USE!
I'd like to say that it is very very bright. Outputs at least 8000 lumens. Does a very good job at flooding an area with even light. BUT! It is absolutely FAR TO LOUD for indoor use. The fan will drive you absolutely mad if you do. I bought it for a busy kitchen and you can still hear the fan over 8 chefs talking. So if you want outdoor only. It's amazing
