Great product, Lasted 3 cruises
I used these on my first cruise. Used as directed I was able to get a few bags of liquor on the boat with no issues. There was a funnel that made pouring the liquor into the bags easy and painless. The bags did not leak and were not detected in my checked luggage. I was able to make drinks from my cabin while getting ready to go out. They were also taken off the boat and brought back on during island days. The day my husband and I were picked up from the boat, we gave them to his aunt, who was cruising the next month. She also used them with no issues during her cruise. On my second cruise my husband noted that there was a small leak coming from the caps. He repackaged them in zip lock bags so it did not get all over our luggage. Once again, no issues getting them on the boat and there was very minor leakage in the zip lock.I was very surprised that these bags lasted more than two trips. My husband wants to use the same bags again on our next cruise but I think we will spring the money for a new set!

Necessity for Cruises
I used these for a Carnival Fantasy Cruise to smuggle rum on the ship and they worked awesome. it got to the point where I didn't even hide them I just threw them into my pack. When initially getting onboard put them through your luggage which will be transported to your room. Don't tape anything to yourself or whatever because it is the customs dudes checking you as you initially board. Spread these among your luggage and others you're going with to increase your chances. All my stuff got through but just to increase your chances in case. When going onto an island you'll need to bring these and refill them there (if you party like us we had to refill every other day) put them in a backpack and you should have no difficulty getting onboard from the islands. Some other things to consider (Keep in mind I was on the Carnival Fantasy) - a soda package is a good idea because the base package only allows you to drink lemonade, s***ty iced tea, and water. I drank so much rum and lemonade that I don't think I can ever drink lemonade again.

Worked Great!
Took a Carnival cruise out of Puerto Rico, and these bad boys worked excellent! Waited to fill them in PR, as to avoid any possible leak issues on the plane, though I am sure they would have been fine. We forgot the funnel to fill the small ones, but cutting a small hole in a plastic cup worked well. All 6 made it on board with us (double bagged each in a ziplock bag). Just follow the instructions, and you can't go wrong. We even filled a couple small ones with Bailey's, which I was worried about, but no issues with them at all. With that said, these are great for getting on larger amounts of alcohol. However, friends of ours snuck their booze in the small, 3-6oz travel containers you can buy cheaply at just about any store. One friend even got almost an entire bottle of JD on using about 6 of the cheap bottles (how that didn't throw up a red flag to the screeners is beyond me). So, if you want to just get on a little extra booze, the cost of the Rum Runner kit may not be worth it.

These worked perfectly!
I probably saved roughly $800 bucks by getting this product. I bought one set and filled them up with Kettle One and Captain Morgan. I also bottled some other spirits in wine bottles and sealed them. This set of rum runners was perfect for 4 people on our cruise to the Bahamas. We took a Carnival cruise and it didn't even look like they opened our bags--but even if they did search our bags, I'm sure it would have been difficult to find these inconspicuous flasks. We wrapped these individually into ziplock baggies just in case they leaked, but they never did leak. We also scattered them across 6 bags that we checked. I think the trick is to wrap them in towels/clothes and put them in your checked luggage. If I had to do it all over again, I would have just bought two sets of the 3 large ones. The tiny ones were nice to bring to the pool, but there was a point toward the end of the cruise where we were running low on alcohol. This was a great product and I will definitely purchase again for my next cruise!

Perfect.
These things are brilliant. And sail right through security. Pack the rum runners with caps near your toiletries (toothpaste, etc) to disguise further. Enjoy!

Good for backpacks
I bought this pack to take on a Sierra Club service trip to Nevada. It's desert there. A quart water bottle was required. I liked that these were light weight, easy to fill, esp., with the enclosed funnel, and weighed next to nothing when filled. I got foot surgery and didn't go on the trip, but I still use the "bottles." Just be sure to fasten it tightly before putting them in your purse, bag, backpack, etc. I do take them when flying. Take the big one through security empty, fill it later, either from a water fountain or bought water. On recent flights to CA I saw water fountains with "healthy" water in the ladies rooms. They were set up for filling water bottles. Great for these cruise bottles.

Saved us moolah on our seven day cruise
We all know that cruises make money off their booze, and I've learned this through experience. I purchased this as an attempt to reduce our bill at the end of the cruise. We brought three of the 1 liter flasks (2 filled with vodka, the other with whiskey). I am happy to report that it was a success. Our port of departure was in Florida, and we live in Southern California. So before boarding the boat, we had to take a plane over to the other side of the country. I was nervous that my bags would be searched when checking them in, however, we had no problem whatsoever! Just remember to fill the flasks up to 80% of its capacity to allow room for expansion when up in the air. We had no problems with leakage in the luggage. The flasks also got through cruise security as our luggage made it to our room with the flasks in their original locations, untouched. We just bought an unlimited soda card and mixed our drinks with the liquor. Who knew Hi-C Fruit punch and Vodka would taste awesome!Overall, this was a great purchase and saved us a lot of money!
