Morgan and Mikhail's Clinical Anesthesiology Flashcards (Lange Flashcards) 1st Edition

LOVE THESE! Yes, they are not question/answer flashcards, but I always have stacks of these in my pockets in and out of the OR. They contain pertinent information in a condensed version of the book and are a heck of a lot easier to tote around than the book. My flashcards have additional notes all over them, highlights and are well used. Whenever I have down time I quiz myself and review topics. These are the most economical anesthesia related item on my bookshelf! Looks like the poor reviews are just from people who simply didn't know what they were buying.

I am in Nurse Anesthesia school and am about to start clinicals. The thing that I like most about these cards is that they really give the highlights of the different chapters. They are not exactly "flashcards" as they do not give questions and answers. However, they do seem to boil down the content and are a great review before an exam or just to review on a topic.

A very useful book that every anesthésiologist , résident or practician should have in his library for learning or reviewing .

These aren't going to change your world and they are thin cards. But for $24 bucks it is a good deal and what I expected.

I really don't think they understand what 'flashcards' are. The majority of the cards are just information from the book printed on smaller sheets of paper (yeah, flimsy paper) - front and back, the two being unrelated passages with no question and answer format. And they're not quick review summaries, most of these things have multiple paragraphs of text. There are a few case cards that actually prompt you like an actual flashcard, but these are unfortunately rare. I guess if you stapled them together it might make a decent review booklet. Don't waste your money, there are far better options.

These are true flash cards if that's what you are looking for. It's more of a paragraph or so summary of an entire chapter. Failing to see the usefulness, maybe if you wanted a really condensed way to look at stuff right before an exam?
