We used to have a much cheaper ikea chair and to be honest I have been having back pain. So we started our search of a good office chair. What a great find this was!This chair is definitely designed with a good back support in mind. I like that the back seat is long enough even for my husband (it is not short). So this is actually an ergonomic chair.The fabric feels nice on the skin even if you are wearing shorts. Yes, it might not be high end real leather chair, but it is actually made of high quality bonded material.the installation took us about 30 minutes, but we were pretty slow having a little "helper" trying to touch and feel everything.Overall, I do definitely recommend. My wife was having trouble focusing and sitting in our office, so I replaced her old office chair with this one and she couldn’t be happier. It rolls smoothly, where the old one didn’t roll at all. The arm rests are an adequate height to rest your arms on, and everything is soft leather and padded well. It was very easy to assemble, though the instructions could have been more clear. I love that you can lean back in this, and that you can adjust the tension on The backrest to make it sturdier or more loose. The chrome support arms look beautiful in contrast to the black fabric. Overall, an excellent purchase.

It was an utter disappointment for the price:1. No instructions inside. The one page of paper instruction was a joke. The assemblers did not bother to spend a few cents to print a good instruction manual.2. The lower round plastic was broken which hides the steel part of the chair. Although it is not a functional part of the chair; it is not a good experience to have something brand new already broken.3. The reclining of the chair is not comfortable. I adjusted the lower screw to the maximum but the chair is still hard for back support like a rod. Feels breakable if I apply force.4. Screws for assembling were bad. I spend 2 hours in the screwing process and it screwed me up.5. No screw covers. A 100$ chair coming without covers to hide the screws is an utter disappointment.6. Comfort rating: 2/107. For all the readers out there: It is up to you now if you want to learn through your own experience or through the experience of others.

Without any special tools and installed it myself, it took around 20 minutes. The instruction was very clear and precise. That is very important when it comes to installing these types of chair. On top of that, all the screws are the same size which means they will not get mixed up during the installation. The seat has firmer foam and feels really nice when sit on it. On the other hand, the back cushion is a little softer which makes it feel good sitting against it. It has full back support so that’s very important as well. Normal operations such as goes up and down, lean back is also supported. This chair has wheels lock and it will be unlocked when someone sit on it. This is a perfect solution for carpet. Great chair after all!

UPDATE: This chair didn't make it 5 months. Well, it really didn't make it past the 3 month mark when all the padding permanently smashed down and compressed so that every time you sat in the chair you could feel the wood boards that made up the seat and backing. By month 5, the arm snapped in two right under the padded arm rest. Because the arms make up the sides up the chair and provide support to the entire chair, this broken arm was a real structural problem and made the chair wobbly and unstable. Spend a little more money and get something better. ORIGINAL REVIEW: My husband is 6'1" and 200-ish lbs. In his home office, I started with one of those pretty, dainty, upholstered office chairs that you see the home magazines. Well, he destroyed that within a year and a half. It was too just small for him. I finally conceded that he needed a regular office chair, but I didn't want something awful looking. We found this chair, and we were convinced it was the right choice after watching a reviewer video. (Thanks reviewer Richard!). Assembly was a breeze. It took two of us 15-20 minutes. The chair is well made and very supportive. Like I said, my husband is a big guy, and it is roomy enough and supportive enough for him. If you are built a little bigger, you don't feel like you are squeezing into a tight chair. The chair does move both up and down (to accommodate your height), and it has an adjustment for backwards tilt. The casters glide smoothly over our low pile carpet. It is actually very attractive for an office chair. I like the puckering/ruching effect of the leather. It adds a little softness and style. The leather is also very nice - no blemishes, tears, or markings. Our only problem was that the chair squeaked a little when my husband tilted it back. A quick squirt of silicone spray fixed that. Overall, this is a really nice product, and I hope it lasts longer than his previous desk chair.
