They are great. They warm and toasty, instead of hot and sweaty. I'm not sure why they have a button on the back of the hand. It doesn't turn the heat on or off, it just glows. So I'm not really sure why it clicks like a switch, instead of just putting a symbol that glow different colors, but doesn't click. I honestly thought the switch was broken, until I got out a magnifying glass and read the itty bitty directions, wherein the button was not acknowledged as a switch. Also, these gloves run small. So if they are purchased for a woman or a man with small hands, it's a good buy. A man with large hands, will not get his meaty paw past the elastic and tightening strap area, even if the strap is at its loosest point, if it manages to get past the battery pocket to begin with.

I bought these gloves for my husband for Christmas, to wear when he is plowing snow on the tractor in freezing temperatures. I was excited that they would keep his hands really warm. Well, first of all, they barely heat up at all; you can't even tell they're on. And then, after sometimes less than a minute, they go down a heat level on their own, or just shut off completely. I wore them around the house and out on my walk to test them, and they didn't stay "on "long enough to warm up, then they shut off. By themselves. I returned them for a full refund.

Im still getting used to the temperature button on the back of the gloves but i've been out in some extreme nighttime weather for a long period and the gloves seem to work well even using only the medium setting. At that setting even in nose freezing weather they kept my hands warm but not hot enough to get sweaty. I could have used the high setting but with the insulation of the gloves themselves it worked much better than trying to keep hot pack hand warmers inside my gloves and keeping them in one place.Drawbacks are few so far. One caution though. I initially used Duracell non rechargeable batteries and still had life left in them after a long outside use. Thinking rechargeable would be the cost saving way to go I bought a Tenergy intelligent charger (which seems so far to be superior (allows charging of a single battery or multiples placed in any available slot) and 12 batteries (I also have the heated socks which will be reviewed separately. The Energy rechargeable batteries can be squeezed into the battery box with much effort BUT you can't close the lit in any manner. The Energy batteries are larger in diameter than either regular standard batteries or even Amazon Basic rechargeable. They fit so tight I have to use a sharp pointed knife to get the Energy batteries out of the holders. Not a good thing as repeated prying could damage the batteries or if not careful could puncture them. In short stay with normal non rechargeable batteries or make sure the rechargeable you buy for this use are the correct diameter . I even attempted to grind away some plastic from the cover just to get it to slide. Worked when only the two side batteries were inserted but then the middle batter then can't be inserted. Again this is with the Energy batteries, which in all other applications in other battery holders may not have this condition. So gloves worked great just use caution in what rechargeable batteries you desire to use with it. Nothing against the Tenergy 's except they are a tad larger in diameter for this specific usage. I would buy these gloves agin if and when they ever wear out.

I’m giving this 5 stars because of how nice and warm but not sweaty they make my hands feel. However there is some room for improvement. They are absolutely huge on my hands . I feel like a kid who just put on daddy’s gloves lol! I’m aware I have small lady hands but these are at least 3 sizes too big. I read other reviews that these ran small so I was hoping they did. I couldn’t pick the size when I ordered as it says woman’s/men’s gloves but the gloves I received had a size L tag in it. Not sure what happened there. Also the button on the hand is decoration, it doesn’t actually work. The light turns into different colors as you press it but the only button that actually turned on the warm setting is on the battery pack itself. I had to figure that out myself and by reading others reviews. Mine didn’t come with instructions.

I have found that these gloves keep my hands fairly warm, even without turning on the heat (outside temps in the low 30s). Their quality is not bad - better than I expected from the pictures. The only negative in my opinion is that they do not heat up as well as I would like when using the power. Not sure how they will work when it gets colder.

I ordered these gloves for my father-in-law because when it gets winter, his hands turn ice cold. He instantly fell in love with them. He told me the quality of them are 100% amazing and would continue buying them. He recommends them to anyone with really fragile cold hands. I tried them on, and I loved how the fabric fix around my hand and the heater inside of them instantly started working.

My husband and I love to ski but he hates being cold. I saw some similar gloves in the store on the slopes and they were $100 bucks. I came home and bought him these gloves for our next trip. They are awesome. Just pop in the batteries and warms right up. They fit him like a charm. And they were no where near $100 bucks. He’s pretty excited to wear them on our next trip. It’s been pretty cold here so he wears them to work. They have amazing insulation as well as heat. He was telling me how the heat doesn’t feel sweaty or like wet heat. It stays dry and warm. I think I hit a home run buying these bad boys. The quality of the fabric is outstanding. Especially for the price. Super well made. The power button is in the best spot too. Easy to use and turn on and off. I’m super happy with my purchase. Totally a great buy.
