I have a 2019 Chevy Traverse that had developed a decent amount of shutter through different gears. I had changed the trans fluid with AC Delco OEM fluid with no effect on the shutter. I did some research and found the GM TSB for Silverados etc saying that this stuff should be used in all of those going forward. I rolled the dice with this and bought two cases. I did the "double dump" I drove it in between and even with just five and a half quarts in, the shutter was gone. I went ahead and did the second dump to get as much of this stuff in as possible. I have now driven 6k more miles and no hint of a shutter or any other issues. I don't know if this is harmful in any other way to this specific transmission (short term or long term) but I rolled the dice and so far it's working great. I had serviced my transmission fluid with AC Delco and a shudder began instantly after changing the fluid. I switched back to the Mobil 1 blue label and the shudder almost completely went away. Drained and filled again and it's shifts as good as new.

Use on the GM 8L series transmissions. The Express van shifts perfectly

I have a 2017 Z71 Silverado 1500 6.2L/8L90 bought it with 41kmiles n jus swapped the fluid at 82k miles but shouldve done it day one. I had the shuddering n hard knock shifts up n down gears, n the high rev then knock shifts kicked in around 65-70k miles. I did a filter n 7.5 quart swap as recommended, i poured 5q in then started the truck n shifted thru gears for a few seconds each gear n pure magic, no clunks or truck moving from hard shifting at all, then i poured the other 2.5q n checked fluid it was fine. I drove about 3 miles n its night n day difference, no steering wheel vibrations n only firm up shifting here n there from 1st to 2nd n 2nd to 1st down shifting but i expect that to go away with mileage after the fluid gets full circulated thru out the transmission, n even if it doesnt thats cuz the damage was already done from 82k miles of crap fluid, GM shouldve poured this stuff in from factory. Not sure if it was available when these trans were first produced but either way its liquid gold. Ill do another 7.5q swap in about 250-500 miles after seeing how well this smoothes out my trans with ample time, HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR ANY 8L90, its worth every penny to avoid bigger issues, swap asap.
