This is definitely a remarkable waterproof for any fabrics that you need sealed and protected
THE GRACIOUS I'M SO SHOCKED!!! This is to make any fabric waterproof and when they said to lightly missed it one time and then repeat a second time it worked better than I thought there was actually way more in the bottle I thought it was going to run out cuz of all the things that I needed to waterproof but I think if I would have done it like I wanted to then there wouldn't been enough for all the products that I had to make them water resistant or waterproof to be more precise This is truly a remarkable product that does exactly what it claims to do

Fabric guard
The product itself is a great product. For light rain, it will form small water drop in the fabric. For heavy rain, it is able to soak the fabric and this product is not able to prevent the water coming through. That is still ok. The bad thing about this product is that it is very easy to clog the spray bottle. Upon arrival, the bottle wasn’t able to spray. I had the content pour into a spare bottle I had and it was working fine. A couple weeks later when I tried to use the leftover from my spare bottle, it got clogged too.

Best waterproofing for my coats and duster!
This product is absolutely the best to keep my jackets and full length waxed cotton duster ( which I wear in freezing rain) waterproofed. Will coat several articles fully with one bottle, and the sprayer works great . It usually can go several uses before needing respraying, every other product only lasted one use before needing to be fully sprayed again. It is strong smelling when applied, so use proper ventilation. After drying fully there is very minimal scent left.Highly recommended, I’m on my second purchase!

Indictment of Packaging
Purchased product to add water resistance to inflatable kayak based on a kayak vendor website. No idea how well the product actually works but not impressed in the least so far. Ordered 32 oz bottle with spray nozzle. Set up to apply and squeezed the spray trigger ONCE that generated a fine mist. That was the only time spray worked. The feeder tube was snapped off at the base of the top with no way to reattach. Delivery box was in very good condition, so doubt damage happened in transit. Purchased an inexpensive spray bottle to complete application. Suggest manufacture upgrade spray bottle. 32 oz bottle today is $30 while the gallon size is $82. Understand smaller quantities are relatively more expensive to produce & deliver, but I think upgrading the bottle would not strain the profit margin - 32 oz bottle is $10 more per quart.I will update this review once I actually test the product. My goal is to reduce drying time before storing kayak.Note about coverage. I used just about all 32 oz to treat a 10 ft kayak (advanced elements advanced frame single). It does have a very large cloth surface area - internal tubes on both sides with large bow and stern areas plus deck surfaces. If the product works as well as I hope, I will purchase the gallon size to treat my advanced elements 15 ft tandem convertible. The product benefit should outweigh the disappointment.

Some product batches are defective (see last bullet on product description)
UPDATE: 303 has followed up (within 48-72 hours of contacting them) suggesting an emulsifier soap like Dawn Powerwash to better remove the discoloration. They also provided information on requesting a refund and replacement which will be needed after removing the bad batch which was appreciated. Disappointing to have the issue but solid customer service from 303/Gold Eagle.ORIGINAL: 303 Fabric Guard seems great at waterproofing but several batches are apparently defective (see the last bullet on the Amazon review) and has left an unsightly and irremovable blotchy white residue all over my new hot tub cover despite following the instructions carefully. Even worse, the company and Amazon (who fulfilled the order) seem to be aware of the "formula issue" but still sent the bottle. After searching the internet for help, I was led back to the description where I saw the warning of the bad batches (obviously Amazon should go through their inventory and discard the defective bottles or at least send them with a note to check the batch number. Insane a small bullet on the product description would be considered sufficient). Calling 303 was no help, only an unmonitored Voicemail box (call since returned see update above). I finally got through to Amazon customer service. But it was a nightmare - unhelpful automated agents, representatives with inoperable computers and the inability to transfer me requiring me to call back and go through the whole thing again. Just an extremely lengthy hour plus runaround. They eventually issued a refund for the product cost, but made no offer to compensate me for the ruined (several hundred dollar) cover or even a suggestion as to how to remediate the damage which does not wash off with soap and brushing.Between the faulty merchandise and terrible customer experience, I cannot recommend purchasing anything from 303 Products or through Amazon (there has since been some resolution, see update). Completely unacceptable quality control.
