I purchased this set for my 3 daughters and my girlfriend. Initially I was a bit worried, as I thought my daughters were going to use them on themselves, fighting over the colors, but in the end, all the hard work of teaching them that siblings are more important and material items, kicked in and they settled it without anyone being hurt, LOL!!As far as I know, none of them have had to use them to break a window or protect themselves, but I think they would really help in either scenerio - I know when I held one of them and jabbed myself, it really hurt, so I can see where they would at least be an improvement over a handful of keys.Reasonable pricing, and solid construction = great value!!I would recommend these to anyone interested, without hesitation, Good vendor, and another great Amazon transaction!

Got one for me and all my kids. I'm learning self defense and as a small girl, this will definitely give me extra confidence if I need it. Solid construction and well made. Thumbs up.

I bought these mainly for the one that has the most aggressive tip. I wish they were just slightly bigger as far as the circumference. I don't have the biggest hands I wear medium size gloves and they feel small in my hand.The one with the sharper point is good for personal defense. Definitely going to be able to push into someone's pressure point with it. You could easily do more damage if you are determined and have the adrenaline pumping. If you're trying to take this somewhere that weapons are banned you're most likely going to have to leave it at home or in your car.The more blunted tip would work okay for self defense, but it's more likely to slide out of your hand and it's more to put more force into your swing. It's going to be more useful as a glass breaker or center punch. This might be a little easier to take with you that has restrictions on weapons, but you might have to have it on your keys or just leave it in the car.Both are lightweight but sturdy, probably made from aluminum or other lightweight metal.For the price they are worth it. There are times that I would rather have one of these over a knife in my pocket.

I have not used either item in actual combat, so I cannot speak from experience of that sort. However, the build on both is good. There is nothing flimsy or insubstantial about them. The size seems very good for medium to large-ish hands. Very small or very large hands probably need a more appropriate size. The weight is very moderate, meaning they do not add anything to worry about on a key chain. In particular, I expect the straight tube one to be something I could easily carry where I cannot carry my other self-defense tools.

Love them! I purchased a set w/4 in 4 different colors. - kind of wish they had silver and or that you could order by color but whatever. At first I thought - this is soo big and bulky, yikes! - but have found that attached to car keys makes finding them easier in a bag, which also means that you will have it out and ready for use by your vehicle - what better place! Gave 1 to my daughter who rides the bus at night. And am handing out to family/friends rest (just can't decide who gets the last 2, LOL). This keychain makes a point and drives it in.

My daughter asked for this. I looked at the Youtube videos on how to use them cause I thought you just poked someone's eyes out with them. My problem is unless I practice everyday I won't remember what all I can do with this besides poke someone's eyes out. Hopefully I never have to use it.

Stabbed the hell out of my boyfriend while we were playing around with these right out of the pack. So uh, 5 star!!!!! I love the weight, the fact that it's a multi pack, and the size. Good to have on my keys even besides self defense because it gives them that weight where I can feel if they are missing/ hear if they are dropped. Love it! Can't wait to gouge out the eyes of a deserving attacker!

These are wonderful! I have one on my keychain and I keep another one in my nightstand. I have the other 2 to my sister for her keychain and nightstand. They are exactly as pictured and discribed. I love that they are metal and come to a point at the end. I would buy this item again and recommend to others.
