Wow, I never ever review things, but after staying up super late last night diving into this SIBO guide/ cookbook and finding so much hope and inspiration, I just had to rave about it. Having SIBO is no walk in the park. In fact, it's changed literally every aspect of my life and even got to the point where I lost the ability to eat almost every single food because I'd have a violent reaction (even to plain tea!). But the healing journey has been huge, and any aspect that makes this journey feel less lonely or lightens the burden is so monumentally important. This book gave me clear-cut information (50 pages of super helpful stuff), and it gave me hope that I'm on the right path. It reminded me I am going to be okay, that I'm not alone, that I am healing, which is the mindset needed to see real healing and get better. What a gift! Thank you, Kristy!!

I have scleroderma lupus amongst other issues and I get small intestine bacterial overgrowth very quite often it is painful and obnoxious and when I found out this book existed I definitely tried it now I have to be on an alkaline diet so I did have to tweak some of the recipes but it gave me a bass and a very good understanding with a bunch of information. This is not just a cookbook this is all so so much of a learning book and the details of it it is so worth getting this book. I truly appreciate what the author did and I'm very thankful and I also shared it on my YouTube page and let other people be aware of it so I know quite a few people have been getting it since I recommended it

Excellent Introduction to SIBO. Not exactly a cookbook.
Kristy Regan has written a very good overview of small intestine bacterial overgrowth (SIBO). I feel the book is incorrectly titled. Only part of it is a cookbook, and the advice is not exclusive to newly diagnosed patients. Even people who have had the condition for years will find good information in this book.SIBO patients are often given conflicting advice. Much of the common advice will make symptoms worse. I like that the book clarifies the condition and gives pros and cons of different diets. She does not mention the diet that has helped me the most, which is the Fast Tract Diet. The final hundred pages of the book are devoted to recipes, most of which take up two pages. They are clearly laid out in readable fonts with plenty of white space.I did not find any recipes that I could use. I have multiple food allergies and intolerances. Yes, I can make substitutions, but whenever a recipe requires multiple substitutions, it is no longer the intended recipe. Then I find myself right back where I started, with my very limited and repetitious diet. I realize this is not your concern, so allow me to just state that some of the ingredients that are often used here are coconut products, low-FODMAP milk, sweets, and spices.

Get the first book or 2nd but not both
Pretty much the same book as the last one by this author without the four week diet plan and calming menu, but with an expanded SIBO information section up front. I liked the older book by this author better. I bought both books and felt like they were repetitive, so my best advice is to just choose one.

Hmmm...delicious!
I highly recommend this book to anyone suffering from SIBO. Our diet is so limited that having recipes that accomodate this difficult disease and are easy to create...well, you can't get better than that. Thanks to the authors for creating the delicious recipes.

Life Saver!
For the newly diagnosed, this cookbook not only helps you know what to eat, but the recipes are also good enough that, as my son said, you eat like kings! I highly recommend it and her other book "30-Minute SIBO Cookbook."

Very informative book
The information is very educational the recipes are good. But I would say to research more medical conditions that Sibo can cause

Keeps it simple
The information in the Part One of "The SIBO Cookbook for the Newly Diagnosed: The Complete Guide to Relieving Symptoms and Preventing Recurrence" by Kristy Regan MScN is so good on its own that it is worth the read with the recipes as a bonus section. Almost. And that is only because the recipes are pretty good. I like that the author keeps the sections and recipes simple. I never felt overwhelmed. I also like the simplicity of the recipes because if I was ready to add-on to it, I could. This is a nicely done cook book.
