Is this fabric suitable to make a roller blind? If so does it need any fabric stiffener?

The only reason that I wouldn't make a roller blind with this fabric is that it frays, so you would need to finish the edges. This could make the blind too bulky at each end of the roller. An Austrian blind could work.

What is the material? Is it 100% polyester? As it says linen look?

It certainly looks like linen but not sure what it is made from.

Can someone please inform me of the name for the mid grey coloured fabric. when i select slate grey it looks too light, charcoal looks almost black.
