works well with API
I use this between my API 512c going into my apollo 16 black interface. I can drive the ore a little into the red without clipping my interface. works good. i thought the shure -15db pad was a bit much for this application

This is a T pad
Well made three resistor circuit. The "+" pin has two 311 Ohm resistors in series, with their center tap connected to a 432 ohm resistor to the ground pin. The advantage is that it is bidirectional, it works exactly the same if input and output are swapped. The disadvantage is that it will unbalance the connection, though in many cases this does not matter. The "-" and ground pins are wired straight through. Resistors appear to be 1%, and are soldered and heat-shrunk. I plan to use the housing for a custom pad, which is why I disassembled it.
