I've had this mat for about 2 years now. So far it's held up very well. I use it on the floor for my son who can't walk to when he crawls around he doesn't hurt his knees. It's easy to clean and easy to move around. I'm going to purchase another one. I like this mat and don't mind the color. I think it's fun.

I bought this 2.5 years ago for my son's first birthday. We were in the thick of the COVID pandemic and I was searching for gross motor activities he could do indoors at home through the winter, and figured this mat was versatile enough to use in lots of ways. I didn't want to buy a cheap version that would rip or wouldn't provide enough padding for an active toddler, so after a lot of research I bought this one. It's been on the floor of our play room for all 2.5 years and has stood up to everything from somersaults to temper tantrums to epic lego-and-train-track-cities. It's his favorite play surface, and mine too. Easy to clean, easy to fold up and store or move, durable and high quality. In 2.5 years the only injury my rambunctious boy has managed to cause this thing is a slight puncture where for some reason he decided to bite it. I have been working with children and children's products for over 20 years and I would buy this mat over and over and over and over again.

We just received our mat yesterday and our daughter was thrilled to have her own gymnastics mat. It’s very easy to fold and pack away. Light and simple to move around. I love how thick the mat is and I’m confident my with my daughter practicing her moves on the mat. A major plus for me was how quick the delivery was. Projected delivery was a little over 10 day and we received it within 4 days. I couldn’t be any more pleased with the speedy delivery. We caught this mat on a deal making the price very reasonable. So far this purchase has been a win in my books.

Update: Spray mat with hairspray if it is too slippery!! We were having issues with the mat being too slippery, and after researching if there was something I could do to remedy the slipperiness, I decided on a whim to try spraying it with hairspray, and it fixed the problem completely!! We do have to respray it every few days, but I'm just delighted that the mat is now completely usable with a fairly easy solution!! The hairspray makes her feet and hands stick!! Original Review: My 11 year old daughter got this mat for Christmas. She has been taking gymnastics for about a year and is getting into back handsprings and front handsprings, so she wanted a mat to practice on at home. Overall, this is a very nice mat. The quality and thickness is great, and this is the cheapest 8 ft. mat we could find. It is also easy for her to fold and unfold. My only complaint is that she is having issues with it being too slick (her bare feet slide when she tries to plant them in her landings, and this has caused quite a few falls) when she does front walkovers, front handsprings, and back handsprings which she can do on the mats at the gym without that issue. After about a month, she is getting a little more used to it and doesn't have this issue if she wears sneakers, but in gymnastics class, she is barefoot, so she isn't too thrilled about wearing shoes. However, it is great for cartwheels, round offs, hand stands, and back walkovers. She also uses it folded to practice her over splits to increase her flexibility and has slept on it with a few friends in the living room for sleepovers. So it's definitely being used, but the slickness was a little disappointing to her especially at first. If you are purchasing this for a more serious gymnast who is really wanting to practice new skills at home, you might want to go ahead and spend more and get a more well-known brand.

This is a very handy mat, I use it every day for exercise, meditation, even a quick nap. Lightweight yet sturdy, easy to store, all in all it is very convenient to have around.

Price was good as are the mats. I bought two. Kids use for random things like practicing bicycle kicks and barriers. I’ve also used for exercising. The colors are awesome.

I ordered purple but got pink. Otherwise it has a nice cushion, good length/width, and it doesn't move while I'm exercising.
