You’ll need AAA batteries for the remote and you need to plug in the projector in an outlet for it to work. You don’t need the sounds on if you don’t want to. This is a great light! Does exactly what it describes. The Bluetooth speaker is decent surprisingly. I’m going to making some minor adjustments on the moon and star lasers to dull them out a bit. The higher your ceiling, the better it will look in my opinion.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Bought this for my daughter because she’s into all things cosmic right now. I bought her some glow in the dark stars and decided to surprise her with this. I use it myself for the speaker function to listen to Spotify or watch Netflix on my tablet when I cook. This is a nice little device. The projection is kind of bright to use as a night light but I don’t think it’s as much of a problem for children.

After reading the 1 and 2 star reviews, I was really nervous about purchasing this, but I couldn’t find anything else that would work for my under the sea Halloween house idea.... I just went ahead and bought it and prayed over it. Well, it came today and I’m so grateful it’s PERFECTNo buzzing sound or jerky movements. It’s smooth and all the colors work perfectly. The sound quality is really good, the exception being- as I’ve seen in other reviews -the ocean sound loop is really way too short. I’m hoping it lasts but as of now, I’m one happy amazon shopper with this purchase.

My kids love this! I’m a bit Jelly on this one. The light is super bright and my son calls it the northern lights. My two Boys never forget To turn this on before bed. My oldest says watching this helps him to fall asleep faster.The speaker blue tooth is an added bonus. We broadcast soft cricket sounds while the boys are sleeping for white noise.Highly reccomend this product. I’m going to buy a 2nd one for use on our patio.

I used this for lighting effects on a Twitch stream, and it died after an hour and a half. It wouldn't restart. The LEDs would light weakly for a few seconds, and then lapse back into darkness. Since then, it won't even do that much.I didn't get around to trying to use it until after the return window had closed, and that's on me, but only that.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  The noise making part is very nice, personally I use the lullaby song because it is calming, but there are other options to chose from - something that suits your tastes.I love watching the lights dance in the room, it is very mesmerizing and calming - at least for me. There are different modes for the lights and even one that would be cool for a indoors party.The fact that you can play your own music with the included cable is very cool and useful.Definitely recommend this product!
