After an epic fail at making my own sauerkraut, I went to Azon and found this product which is pretty much the same as what I had imagined my own would be. At first I thought it was a bit expensive and the jar is small, but the kraut is really packed in there and it lasted a long time. I just put a spoon or two on top of my meal; it adds some beautiful color, delicious taste, and healthy microbes to my meals. Tip: temperatures above 115F or so will kill the good stuff, so let your food cool a bit before adding. Thanks to this company for creating an excellent product.

First couple of jars are more enjoyable than anticipated. I've never been a sauerkraut eater, but am following the advice of nutritionists. Am currently restricting my caloric intake and this is an awesome chewy crunchy stomach filling low calorie snack with serious purple nutrients. Kudos to this lady for offering us this healthy booster in a form that does not contain unhealthy high fructose corn syrup like others sell here on Amazon. We want the health benefits without the problems, 👍🏼thank you. ☺️3.20.2025 Update:Apparently these are so tasty they fly off the shelf (They are out-of-stock too often.)Now I am completely out and am regretting buying only eight jars last time.

For a very long time I could not find authentic sauerkraut. The ones in the supermarket contain vinegar rather than having the cabbage go through the actual fermenting process. Wise Goat Sauerkraut is truth in advertising! It is the authentic, fermented cabbage that I have been looking for. I have had the green cabbage as well, however, I understand that the red cabbage provides additional nutrients. ...love, love,love Wise Goat Fermented Probiotic Sauerkraut. I will be purchasing it often! ...highly recommend!!

I have only been motivated a handful of times to write a review...two times to warn agains't inherently defective expensive products, and once before, a positive review for a great small business.This Sauerkraut is miles beyond better than a number of other brands I've tried including the "Eden" brand which historically has been the best. I tried it recently after I found it in a local health food store. I ordered a number of bottles from Amazon, as the shipping price is the same for one bottle. This brought the average price per bottle to a significant savings from the health food store. Also has a great shelf life upon refrigeration. Make sure you read the instructions before opening. My original Health Food store purchase was an adventure...a mini volcano erupted upon opening as it is packed under pressure.Packaging was perfect. Great story behind this amazing woman's business!I will be a lifelong customer and hope this review doesn't cause her to run out of produce as I reorder over time...
