Suzuki Genuine Accessories Gel Seat (Carbon Look) Compatible with 04-09 Suzuki DL650

I bought this gel seat to replace the horrible stock seat on my older DL650 V-Strom. The new seat is 100 times more comfortable during my commute, and a blessing on really long rides. This seat is actually one inch TALLER than stock, so takes a little getting used to, but my butt is grateful every time I ride my bike. I received great service from both Louis Power Sports in TX and Amazon. There was a mix-up when I received the seat as a gift as well as ordering one myself. I ended up with 2 seats and no graceful way to do anything but return the seat to Louis Power Sports. Louis Power Sports' had a much better price, but I had no choice but to return it. They were happy to take the seat back. I recommend Louis Power Sports and Amazon for good prices and great service.

This seat fit 2004 DL650 perfectly. Raised the height about an inch or so, I would have liked the tall seat that adds 2", but couldn't find it. This seat is much more comfortable than the stock. It has more of a wider flatter area to sit on, which results in pushing your legs outward at stops. It also keeps you from sliding back as much as the stock as there is a more distinctive separation with the pillion position. In all great for the price

Far, far superior to the stock seat. It feels stiff when you first get on it but at the end of day you realize what a comfortable seat it is.

This Suzuki seat belongs on a Wee like the color green on a dollar! Don't waste your time with expensive "custom" seats until you've tried this one first. Plus, next time I need anything for the bike I'll check whether I can get it from Louis Powersports at amazon; their shipping speed and prizes are great. I am VERY VERY happy with this purchase!

SO far so good. It sits you about 2 inches taller, so get ready to adjust your seat height.

Should have purchased this seat years ago. Just put on 150 miles with little fatigue compared to the stock seat. I'm kicking myself for putting up with the stock brick for all those years. My ride was a Lou more enjoyable without awful pain from my seat

I don't notice an appreciable difference in overall comfort in this seat compared to the OEM seat. Style wise it's a minimal improvement. Wouldn't buy again but I'm too lazy to repackage & return this one.
