The Special Kids speech and skill development video modeling programs have been demonstrated to help many visually receptive learners acquire verbal, reading, writing, academic, motor, play, self-help, social and interactive skills. Repetition: Repetitive presentation of materials, in a variety of approaches, to reiterate, yet entertain. The Human Element: Very importantly, Special Kids features the human element - via host "John Sprecher," father of a boy with autism - that Newsweek calls essential to learning. Do you know how to wash your hands, brush your teeth and comb your hair? This program teaches children all about their body - and how to keep it clean. From head to toe, they'll learn that boys and girls aren't all that different as they learn to bathe, shower, wash hair, brush teeth and trim nails. Also teaches self-help, communications, social and motor skills plus speech, labeling, writing, reading, sequencing, modeling, generalization and association to objects and actions.
