We make leather belts using only the best quality real leather, tanned in Italy. All the buckles and other metal accessories are also made in Italy, and we have tested the quality for several years.Full Grain is the top layer of the leather, unique due to small irregularities and wrinkles on the surface. This leather is the strongest available, and we use 3.2-3.4 mm thick leather.Vegetable Tanned is leather which takes about two months to arrive from raw hide to the final, tanned leather. This is a old-world traditional process, requires a long time and the use of natural substances only, for tanning and coloring. Bocane Leather Belts will last longer, gain a lovely patina in time and, one of the first things you will notice, smell of real leather. 100£+ quality belt for a quarter of the price
This is my first product review, and I can say it's been a great experience. The belt (I bought 2, hence the duplicate review) is excellent quality, it arrived fast (quite amazingly, for Norway) and the presentation is fantastic (see pics).I own many belts and this one is definitely highly recommended - and I believe the price is great for what you get. This is a handmade, high-quality item and I expect it'll outlast me :) I expect that it will get even more character as I wear it.The color is navy and looks great - and it has this sort of vintage look to it that makes it a great accessory. It's slightly thinner than your standard belt but that makes it stand out - works well with jeans, chinos or other casual pants. I'm glad that the retaining straps are sturdy - with most belts they seem to want to tear and get lost while these ones feel as durable as the belt itself.One cool thing: the belts can be shortened as needed, so if you're not sure about your size just order the longest and then trim it down - it's very easy to do.

Lovely item
Presentation and postage time was great first off. Came in a sturdy box within a box, complete with ribbon and hand written note thanking me for the purchase, which was a lovely touch.Belt itself looks very well made, and is a good vibrant colour (i went for the dark blue, not navy).The divots and the distressed look for the buckle are also nice touches. As with many leather items, I expect this to look better with age. Recommended.
