I paid to have a firearm Cerekoted and loved it. Only part I didn't like was not doing it myself. For the price of one job I purchased the tools needed to do it myself and I am hooked. I have done glasses a pen several guns and a few magazines.This product is amazing, from a true pioneer company in Oregon they ship you product lightning fast and you will literally start seeing thing differently as in can I Cerekote that??I have purchased two builds just so I could camo them. I mistakenly ordered wrong color. I was in a hurry. Cerakote not only shipped me the color I wanted to order in the first place they air shipped to get it to me. AAA+ customer service and I haven’t yet applied the product myself. I have used it on multiple rifles and sold on the quality of product no I am just as impressed by their service I would give 10 out of 5 stars if I could. Keep it up Customer support team you made me a for life customer. Of your Brand.

Super tough finish, takes some learning to lay down an even wet coat of paint, but no different then any automotive paint. I used a small sprayer I got from Lowe's after soaking everything in acetone. Just follow the instructions exactly and you'll be fine. Finish turned out fantastic, very hard and scratch resistant. I'll do a follow up of things change.

Cerakote is an awesome coating as long as you prep/apply correctly. I’ve used it several times to coat watch cases, which have stood up to significant abuse over the years, but wanted to coat a recently purchased shotgun. I followed all of the instructions and it turned out fantastic. I don’t have any fancy tools either...I use a spot blaster from HF in a big Tupperware bin, a cheap air gun also from HF, and use my kitchen oven to bake. Have never had a problem with the end result.

There is alot if prep work.. so ease of use is a 3, thats not cause its hard, just alot.Found out, with lighter colors..white,red, yellow.. you need to cure at 200 deg f for 2 hrs intstead of what the directions say which is 300 for 1 hr.. called tech support. This is what they told me

I've cerakoted a few projects now and they all turn out great.The durability is just incomparable to anything out there. It's not something that can be rubbed off but it can be scratched if something hard like a knife cut it. Although it does add to the thickness and if you have parts that are a tolerance fit, it needs to be masked off.Colors are accurate and do not stain. One of my cerakote projects included white and with all the oil and grease it sees, it can be cleaned off very easily.The only downside is the difficulty in cerakoting. The resources and set up will take a day, especially for the first time preparing but it is well worth it.

Absolutely perfect. Did exactly as I expected and with a few YouTube vids for instruction I was up and painting my AR in no time. The color is fabulous and I still have enough left over to paint at least 2 more just like it.
