CHAPTER XVI iPhone 6 Plus Case, The Book for iPhone 6 Plus (5.5 inch) - Genuine Vintage Leather iPhone 6 Plus Case with Wallet (Black)

This is a great idea and is very well made. I like the leather feel and quality......but, like most wallet manufaturers they made the mistake of not compensating for the bulk. I inserted a single credit card in each of the four slots and the license in the plastic window slot. A single $20 bill folded in half (The size of the cover does not allow for a flat bill). The cover doesn't close all the way. The easy solution would be at the design level, that is to add an additional 1/16 to 1/8 inch on spine to allow for the contents.Another problem is, it's difficult to extract the credit card. the pocket is very tight, no doubt to conserve size.I probably would not recommend this to anyone for these reasons. Case was delivered 5/20. Loved it after researching forever. 12 weeks after delivery, the inside pockets started to fray and pulled apart completely. I emailed the company and no response. I am not rough on the case, nor do I keep more than 4-5 cards and no cash. Case is excellent if it would stay together.

This case is a serious statement. It shows that you have some serious hipster flair while trying to invoke to people that you have a soft literary side. While I'm not trying to be as pretentious as that, I do love that it works perfectly as a wallet AND a phone case. What I do wish is that it fit cash better and was designed better for when you have cards int he sleeves because it does get a bit wonky when you've got it packed full of stuff. It handles drops well and fits well in my back pocket. The one thing that is weak on it is the little plastic bit that goes over the volume buttons on the phone. That broke off within the first week but did not otherwise affect the structure, integrity, or pretentious capabilities of the case.****Update: After use, for about three months, the plastic phone housing began to break and crumble at the corners, which changes my satisfaction with the product SIGNIFICANTLY. It also does not make sense because only one of the corners had taken an impact, and that corner is intact. The other corners must have cracked due to poor plastic quality or some other stress, which I have no idea what that would have been. I like the look of the case, overall but the leather broke in very quickly (the spine is just flimsy and floppy now). The leather is well worn now, which is part of the look, so acceptable. I am disappointed in the case.***Further Update: I have continued to use the case because it's just too convenient and I spent $40 on it. Now, the phone housing itself has started to delaminate from the leather inside. Not only is the crappy brittle plastic that holds the phone crumbling, but the bulk of it is separating from the actual leather case. Definitely not a quality item. If you intend to buy for long term use, look for something better and long lasting or just opt for something cheap that can be easily replaced.

The iphone case is beautiful and very functional. I've tried similar cases which didn't close properly and gapped open, but this one closes flat and actually looks like a book. It is well made and the leather has a nice, smooth texture. The only potential problem could be that the elastice strap used as a closer could come loose over time, but the book part could close even without that. It's great, would definitely purchase again.

I really like this case until I took a photo that used the flash. In the case the photos have a white haze. Out of the case they look fine. With no flash photos look fine. I have tested this many times. I first thought my iPhone had a problem and was happy to find that it was the case.Other users: Please take some flash photos and post a comment to my review. Perhaps it is just the one that I received.

This is a beautiful book binder for the iphone, however the plastic shell that holds the phone inside the binder is too thin. I've had it for about two months and it has already cracked near the mute and volume buttons (upper left) and has completely broken off near the power button (upper right). Now the phone slides partially out of the holder. I'm afraid I'll need to stop using very soon otherwise the phone will just pop out -- and fall and break. Too bad, it's a delightful style.

Looked nice and sturdy at first- But as soon as some rain got it wet, greasy dye streaked from the unit and even got on my shirt. Unacceptable... Returned immediately. Please fix this major issue.

It's well made. Feels nice in your hands. Holds 4 cards but slipping money in is a little difficult. My only issue is I end up folding the flap all the way back to talk on the phone. Credit cards hang out when yo fold the flap in reverse. Kinda looks strange. If you don't mind that it is a very well constructed product.
