Very soft but it has to be readjusted as it pulls too snug over eyes. It's in the design, not reinforced there. I have a small head and this fits me but not for larger heads. The turn down flap saves it from letting the light in at nostrils. Earth Therapeutics is better and cheaper. I have two that I rotate washing. Their straps wear out though. I wanted an elastic wrapped strap, this one is perfect and won't wear out. I'll just keep making my own staps. This too expensive!!!

My first sleep mask! I was excited but also skeptical because the reviews seemed almost *too good* to be true. I just moved to Manhattan and have been having difficulty falling asleep in the city. I needed to get my sleep schedule back on track, so I had high hopes for this product.Overall, I am very happy with this product, but here's my full review and some things to be aware of:MATERIAL: When I received the product, I was happy to find it felt just as silky and smooth as it looked in the photos. It has a beautiful, glossy sheen and feels quite luxurious on your face.QUALITY: I was afraid it might feel cheap or that the mask would be too thin, but the materials are actually quite durable. The stitching is good and the mask is thick yet feathery light -- not heavy or bulky,.FIT: I've never owned a sleep mask, and I was concerned it might be too tight or uncomfortable. Lucky for me, it fits my head just right. It lays gently across my face and wraps snuggly around the back of my head. It actually makes me feel MORE comfortable when I have it on. HOWEVER, I am petite, so someone with a larger head might find it too tight.PERFORMANCE: My one issue with this product is that it doesn't stay put throughout the night. This really isn't a huge problem for me, because it stays put long enough for me to fall asleep, which is when I really need it. But, when I wake up, it's almost always completely off of my face or halfway up my forehead. It doesn't feel uncomfortable when it moves, and I've never woken up because of it, but it definitely doesn't stay put throughout the night.OVERALL: I love this product. I feel like a luxurious queen putting it on before bed, and I feel amazing drifting off with my head wrapped in a plush, silky mask. There is almost something spa-like about the experience that is relaxing in itself. It's become a ritual that I look forward to each night, and like I said, the act of wearing it is enough to make me feel relaxed and ready for sleep. I definitely sleep better and fall asleep faster.I would totally recommend this to anyone who wants to feel pampered AND a get a great night's sleep.

It's too small for my head. In the picture it's shown to have an adjustable band but the one I received does not have that. The soft silk material is nice but the pressure on my eyes makes the mask unusable.

The strap is too tight. I like the kind of strap it is though. It's more durable and holds closer keeping my dry eyes moist and comfortable. But sometimes it felt so tight pressing into my eyes I don't use it anymore. Just a tiny bit more give and it would be perfect.

I ordered the White Lotus Anti-Aging Silk eye mask at the same time as this one & prefer the white lotus better. This gets the job done though & isn't a bad deal. This eye mask presses on your eyes a little but its not bothersome. I actually kind of liked it at first. Then I had insomnia one day & I kept focusing on the compression & just one more thing keeping me up. Also when I lie on my side, a little light comes in by the nose. I sleep during the day & its bright in my room so....

The strap is a bit tight around an average sized head and cannot be adjusted. Mask part is very soft and comfortable.

As this seemed a bit confused by earlier reviews I'll first point out that this mask now has an adjustable strap to fit any size head. I have a very big head and the strap could be adjusted to go much bigger - or smaller.My head also runs very hot and all of the other masks I've tried made my head much too sweaty. This mask raises my heat a little bit but after a couple of days I was used to it.This is also the first to actually block out all light. No light leaking in a around the nose.The one possible problem would be that it sits flat across the eyes so if you have sensitivities with your lashes that could be a problem. A few of the masks I've tried bent out over the eyes but that is also what contributed to light leaking in. This flat design works much better for me.

I love the soft silk material but the elastic is not adjustable and it feels too tight to fit around my head. I wish the elastic can be adjusted or made longer so I don't feel the pressure of it pressed onto my eyes when sleeping. Needless to say, I don't use this to sleep because it is not comfortable.
