I have been using my kayak for a couple of summers now and wanted to tell how much I love it. I am a grandma in my 60's and this kayak fits in my van that has the seats that fold into the floor. I do have to move the passenger front seat forward and set the kayak at an angle, but it fits perfect in the back of my van. I am able to lift it into the back of the van and slide it in with no help. At the lake I pull it through the grassy areas and avoid the boat ramps as I can not carry it. Having it in my van I always have it when I want to fish after work for a couple of hours. It is great on the water, super stable and has lots of rod holders and storage and love the blue color. I did upgrade the seat and can sit for hours with comfort.

Still floats with 350lbs!
So, shipping didn't go so well for me, but I called up and was made whole again. Now to the relevant part of the review. Cup holder sucks! All it has is a slanted trough for a closed bottle. Other than that, it's a damn good kayak. It has what I was looking for: side handles, foot slots (the adjustable tracks get hung up and break off - never again), storage hatches and the angler package with plenty of room for modifications. Being under 10' means it's easy to maneuver in narrow river paths and since it a bit wider than some of my buddies' kayaks, I float a bit higher and have less trouble getting stuck in low waters. Now, I know it said the weight limit says 250, but I took a female out tandom on it, I in the seat and she slightly forward; it held us both up dry in the lake until the radio ran out of battery and we shore'd up. We had to be almost 100lbs past weight the limit, and though I did feel it was significantly more rocky and the water almost up to the brim, I'd say one who's weight is a bit above the limit or concerned about the weight of extra gear need not worry, especially when properly sitting in the kayak. If you get a soft cooler and shove it into the center hatch, you can keep ice all day without having to turn around awkwardly to reach a bungied up cooler, so that was great too.Yeah, so, the seat isn't what I think of when I use the word deluxe, even though it apparently has a cup holder (but not it my mind). I just tied a drawstring koozy to a side handle and that's what I'll have until I figure out how to heat up and reshape the bottle trough into a proper cup holder or cut a hole for one. That really is my biggest gripe about this. I mean, why do they even make kayaks without cup holders anyway? Zero stars for no cup holder!

I love it and would highly recommend it
A real bargain for a quality kayak. Despite it's 9 foot length, it's width makes it remarkably stable in the water. I've used this at our place in Pensacola (Perdido Key), both on the bay side and ocean side. Two trips off shore thus far, two trips on the intercoastal side, and no issues at all. I love it and would highly recommend it. Comparison wise, would favorably compare it to the Vibe Skipjack kayak. Features on it are excellent, rod holders, paddle is good, scupper plugs are excellent. Seat is comfy, no worries. It comes with all the bells and whistles you'll want. I had a bit of an issue with the shipping getting here, but it turned out to be the trucking/shipping company, not the seller. Once that was worked through, it arrived quickly, intact, and no damage. Super well packed.

Green Camo - My Retriever...
Had to put my black lab down years ago. Now I am the retriever when duck hunting. I got this kayak for a fast, camo stealth retriever boat. With its low profile, and green camo pattern, it easily stashes and conceals close to my blind. Light weight but super tough and sturdy. It easily loads in/out of my 18" Alumaweld skiff. This kayak fits the ticket, perfectly. Feels perfectly safe and stable to me - 200#, 6'2". Highly recommend it!

Definitely worth the money!
This yak gets you out into the middle of the lake! Need I say more? My husband is 50 and has no probably lifting it onto the top of our Jeep. It will fit in the Jeep if you lay all the seats down and take it to the dash. He didn't find it stable enough to stand on. Rod holders work well, the seat was comfortable-even after 4 hrs, oars worked fine. He made pretty good time while paddling. For the length that it is, it paddles pretty straight. It drifts quite a bit, so you might want a small boat anchor.Something good to know...it's hard to hide if it's a gift.

DO NOT BUY
Product was delivered with substantial damage, including many gouges and a separated seam that may have caused it to sink. The packaging was undamaged, leading me to believe that the product left the warehouse despite the flaws. I returned it and BKC has permanently lost a customer.

Happy fisherwoman
Love my fishing kayak!! I like having all the pole holders...plenty of leg room, glides through the water with ease and is very stable. I would recommend this kayak to anyone.

Was delivered on time and in perfect condition. I specifically chose this model because I wanted to be able to put in the back of my eight foot bed pickup with the tail gate up. It fit perfectly, and I could not be more pleased. Tried it out yesterday and I really liked the way it handled.
