Amazing paper
Paper is super heavy weight it's going to be great for watercolors and acrylic paint. It's on the small size but if your the kind of artist like myself I draw and paint on smaller scale anyways. I can't wait to try this out. I was so excited when I opened the package and seen how nice the paper was. It's amazing it's consider kids paper. Try it out it's worth the price.

All Purpose Art Paper
I was seeking a paper that would allow my daughter, who uses oils, pastels, watercolors and watercolor pencils, to have a versatile medium for her creations. These pads of paper were perfect and hold all paint and pencil sources well! She uses them for everything from acrylic painting to pencil sketches! The only downfall is that the price was perfect but I would have loved to have the paper be a bigger size- but we can order that next time. Just make sure you read that they are not 8.5 x 11 size- I didn't read as carefully and missed that.

Not for watercolors
In the photo I've attached, the left paper is THIS product and the right paper is a cotton paper. I don't expect non-cotton paper to behave like cotton, but I was very surprised at how much more muted the pigments are on THIS product. I don't do oil painting or acrylic, so I'm not sure how well it would work with those mediums. It is pretty thick though.

Works well with acrylics!
Bought this paper for a gift for my granddaughter and was a bit disappointed in the paper size. My fault, as I didn’t check the dimensions before ordering. I still kept the paper and gave it to her along with her acrylic paints for Christmas. She recently produced her first dragon painting, which was very good for an 11 year old. So, all in all, it works great for smaller paintings!

Great for pastels.
Good thick paper. I literally just started working with pastels, trying both oil and soft. This paper works well for both the pic is done on this paper with mungyo soft oil pastels. I am very happy with this paper pad.

Half size pad
These pads were very small. I should have read the description better so it’s my bad but I really did expect a larger size. The quality is nice.

great for kids painting projects
grandkids love to paint but are getting more skilled and beyond plain paper. this works great with acrylic paints. it does curl slightly after painting(maybe all paper will do this) but for the price has been great...nice texture.

Outstanding Product and Value!
I am super impressed at the 246#, 400 g/m2 rating of these papers, and I am looking forward to creating my watercolor, gouache, acrylic, and maybe oil artwork on the Pro Series A5 Painting Paper Pads.If these turn out as good as I expect, I will definitely be purchasing more of these products.
