Great spine.
Axis Scientific goes far above and beyond in order to make a customer happy. This particular spine is their entry level model and is about as flexible as one of my teenage daughters (not SUPER bendy). However I am very pleased with the quality, size and likeliness of a real spine. The construction is solid, I gave it quite a bit of force when I used it as a teaching tool and it help up very nicely. It also transports easily with quick assembly upon arrival to teaching destination. If what you are looking for is a more bendy spine, consider their next level spine model here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KZO8MUG. Great company, I would not hesitate to purchase from them again in the future. And likely will.

Well made product…
As a person who has had numerous orthopedic type surgeries and injuries, I thought it would be good to have this “spine” to better understand my back and also explain to friends what I’ve been through…. This has done both. I’ve had a few friends come over and ask about it and then be mesmerized by the spine model…. Eventually it will make its way to my man cave/car storage, but for now we’ll enjoy and remember all my crashes:)

A little stiff
More difficult to manipulate than models I’ve had in the past. Not enough rotation, flexion or extension to accurately demonstrate the effect of a subluxation.

Good but overpriced
Great quality. Too expensive for what it is.

Neurologic ICU Physician- I recommend this!
I bought this model to review spinal procedures with our ICU’s nursing staff when two complex spine surgeons joined our practice. It’s a very good model and has an appropriate amount of flex to it. I used it to demonstrate angle of approach for lumbar punctures to our advanced practitioners. This is a high-quality model and would be great to show patients as well.

Awesome Spine Model!!
I shopped around quite a bit as there are a lot of different spine models on Amazon. After looking at a number of them, this model appeared to be the best fit between high quality and an affordable price. I was not disappointed at all after receiving it! This spine is really nice quality and I don't see any difference between this one and the more expensive models. It is flexible, sturdy, and anatomically correct. The stand is included with this one (unlike some others that show a stand in the photo, but don’t actually include a stand). I would definitely recommend this spine!!

I'm in chiropractic school so I really needed a good model. The name of the product claims it is flexible, but there honestly is not much flexibility to it. Also the SI joint is basically non-existent and I really wish I could move this area because it would greatly help when I'm setting up to practice certain listings. The ilium is basically screwed on to the sacrum so I can't do much with that area. It would make it easier to visualize honestly as a student, as many students like myself are visual learners. I'm not sure if I just need to play around with it more to give it more motion. We'll see.
