Grizzly Mountain Beard Dye - Organic & Natural Brown Beard Dye

A great product. Easy to use and mix, it washes off very nicely. There is absolutely no stinging or irritation. The brush is easy to use and application is effortless. You can easily alter the consistency of the paste. It comes in a re-sealable pouch. Gives excellent results but you probably need to reapply once a week. It gives a good 2 months’ worth of applications for a short beard.

I have really fine blonde hair on my face (basically invisible) so I was worried it wouldn't work, but I couldn't be happier with the results. I did get the wrong shade first time around (the Brown Dye turned a kinda medium russet brown which is too light for me, I ended up getting the Dark Brown Dye instead which looks perfect on me because my head hair is a chocolate brown colour) but the result still looked totally natural. The bags they send are really generous with several applications' worth of product inside, I like that it's resealable to keep it safe for later. I also love how the instructions talk you through how to make the dye work if it's not right the first time; my first application looked green so I used their Organic Base for 30 mins then redyed it again and that made the colour really take to my hair. And there's literally zero staining! Fantastic!

It certainly doesn’t burn your face like JFM but also doesn't have the same end results, for me anyway. I had high hopes this would work for me, and while it covered some hair it left a lot grey/green areas espesh around my chin. I followed the instructions by the letter, applied and re applied it using the organic sachet too over 3 days, and while it got slightly better after every application it just did not cover grey convincingly. I’ve shaved the lot off now.

This actually isn’t a bad product but it’s way too expensive. I had been using this for sometime and the price has just gone up also very messy to mix and can leave marks on sinks and showers. Yes the marks can be cleaned off but it’s just very messy. I liked the colour that you get from the product. It looks very natural but it took some time working through colours and different application times to find the right blend. I would recommend if you are the type of person who has reactions to the mainstream product.

Bought this product after sore, raw, weeping and unsightly reaction to Just For Men. Really helped my love life, thanks. Their product should be banned. Anyway, rant over. This dye did not burn and you can tell it’s natural and sympathetic to the skin. Although I’ve a very bristly thick beard that doesn’t lay flat to the skin, I found the full half hour application gave my beard a natural brown tone (as opposed to patches of red, grey and brown like Billy Connolly but without the purple bits, salary or humour). I didn’t suffer the green tinge for more than an hour after and am very happy. I also didn’t find it too messy compared to other reviewers, but I guess that’s because I put it on my face rather than smearing it all over the bathroom. Next time I’ll go for a darker tone as the natural brown is quite light and flaxen but overall 10/10. Especially compared to the flame thrower of Just For Men ... face burning charlatans.

I have developed a severe allergy to commercial hair dyes and this is the absolute best alternative I have found. Firstly , this product works well for me but is messy and a bit time consuming. Also, it leaves a green tinge for about 24 hours and gradually turns brown. After it browns up it looks quite natural. I recommend doing it in a day when you’re planning on staying home. The beard must be washed and free from soap or oil residues. I shower before with a mild liquid soap and rinse very well and then towel dry. It is crucial that you pretreat the beard with the organic base. Mix it to a medium thick paste with very hot water. It should be thinned enough so that it might slowly drip off a spoon. Apply liberally while it is still hot to your beard making sure to rub it in down to the roots. Allow it to stay for 15-20 minutes then rinse out with warm water only. Don’t use soap. I do this in the shower because it is quite messy. Towel dry and mix the dye exactly the same way using very hot water. Apply liberally and wait 20 minutes. Rinse out again very well in the shower. Towel dry. Wait and watch it turn brown over time. I think this is a great product for those who have allergies to commercial dye.

I had been using 'Just for Men' for about six months and started to develop a terrible allergy to it with chemical burns, itching and blisters lasting for two weeks (stupidly I hoped the first reaction was a one-off and did it to myself again). Looking into it, it transpires 'Just for men' is laced with PPD which causes similar reactions in a lot of people. I searched for PPD-free beard dyes and found this; it's a revelation - no irritation whatsoever and it gives a really nice reddish-brown colour which is actually a lot more natural looking on me than 'Just for men' medium brown which I was using before. I don't have a huge beard but followed the instructions to use two heaped teaspoons anyway and it made a lot more paste than I think I needed, so I'll try just one spoon next time. I left it on for 30 minutes and ended up sitting in a very green bath after I'd washed it off... I was worried therefore about getting a green beard initially which I'd read about in the reviews. Not an issue for me, I went to bed with it looking pretty much the same but by the following morning the colouration was a rich reddish-brown. Having tried them both, even if I wasn't allergic to 'Just for men', I think I'd choose Grizzly Mountain anyway.

Mit etwas Übung ein super Produkt! Und wirklich eine sehr gute Alternative zu den chemischen Färbemitteln. Ich benutze es ohne die Organic Base und lasse es ca. 15 Minuten einwirken. Den wirklichen Effekt sieht man erst nach ca. 24h. Wenn man regelmäßig nachfärbt, sieht man den Übergang aber nicht. Da jedes Barthaar anders ist einfach probieren. Man sollte auch einfach testen, welche Farbe man man am besten kauft und was am natürlichsten aussieht.

Lo que más me atrajo del producto es que es hipoalergénico. Es orgánico. Había probado otros de marcas muy conocidas pero siempre me daban alergia en la piel, lo que era muy molesto. Con este tinte ningún problema de ese tipo. Llevaba usando el producto desde hacia tiempo pero si estoy notando que cada vez me resulta menos útil. Ya no me cubre las canas como antes

Cela fonctionne, il faut tout de même un peu tâtonner sur la durée de pause mais le résultat est là. Et surtout sans aucun réaction cutanées comme avec les produits identiques mais chimiques. Troisième fois que j’achète ce produit.

My husband looks great. He reacted badly to the other chemical dues. This one did not do that. He has a lot of grey and you will need to do a top up to build the colour. Happy with this product.

Ottimo prodotto. L'ho scelto essenzialmente perché ho la pelle sendibile e i coloranti tradizionali mi facevano allergia e devo dire che questa tintura è veramente ipoallergenica, nessun fastidio dopo l'applicazione. Va subito detto che non si applica come le altre tinte, seguendo bene le istruzioni il risultato è garantito. Io personalmente dopo la prima applicazione ho dovuto fare, una seconda con la base organica che è presente nella confezione e poi rifarmi un altra applicazione e il risultato è eccelente e a quanto pare dura anche di più. Comunque consiglio vivamente questo prodotto.
