Red Kap Men's Shop Short

I’m a full time mechanic for gas and diesel passenger vehicles and I have 3 pairs of these, one in each color, and love them. Very durable, have never ripped. Fit is true to size and don’t hug my anywhere too tight. They wash easily and don’t seem to hold onto stains. The pockets are great and hold my phone, flashlight, pocket screwdriver, keys, multitool, and wallet all at once with room for a spare wrench or 2. After years of putting a leatherman clipped to my pocket the seam where it sits still hasn’t frayed or torn. Really durable and reliable shorts that will last you years.Waist also has room to breathe. I’ve fluctuated pant sizes about an inch or 2 during the time I’ve owned them and they are never too tight. Great all around shorts. Also not too baggy, you can get away with wearing them outside of the shop without looking sloppy.

Working on cars with Texas heat is hard. I had no problem dropping wrenches and sockets in there. In addition the hem is strong enough to catch the belt clip of my pocket knife and cordless tools.I can tell a lot of feedback from mechanics went in to this design.Worth the money

I love these shorts. They are super comfortable and super durable. I use them daily for work (HVAC). there are two thing I'm not a huge fan of. 1. They fit a size small I wear a 42 but had to return and order a 44. And 2. I'm not a huge fan of the leg length a little hemming and they are now perfect. I ha e 2 pairs and will be ordering more.

As a mechanic it TX who isn't one of the spoiled ones in a air conditioned shop I can promise you these are worth double their weight in gold. Plenty of pocket storage and that "extra durable pockets" stuff they advertise is 110% true, I shove EVERYTHING in my pockets from pliers, screwdrivers, ratchets, extensions, scrapers, parts, and everything else pretty much that I can get to fit and I'm telling you they are STRONG and will not break/rip/tear/puncture the pockets. They feel breezy enough being shorts but not really any airflow through the fabric tho so swamp but still can be a thing with these but honetly never had a problem with that myself. They are long enough to not be booty shorts for a tall person and not too long to be pants for a shorter guy and the waist does have some stretch to it but they are true to size so don't need to size down for them.

These are great shorts, fit is very good, up in the crotch just like they should be. The length is 13, long like I like them, they are comfortable and functionality is great good value for the money, lots of pockets my wallet type clip card holder fits the best in these.my only complaint is there is alot of frayed strings, but an easy fix. They are made in Mexico but that doesn't matter to me. Material is thick and they are comfortable.

These are very good, but I like Dickies a C hair better.

Aabsolutely love the fit and durability of these, they have become my go to everyday shorts.

My favorite work shorts. Well made for active work like climbing, sliding, jumping, and repetitive movement. They have a little stretch to them. Crotch gusset gives spread comfort. Black hasn’t faded at all like Dickies do.
