Seemingly not for course frizzy hair
You have to use small pieces of hair or it will tangle halfway through the tube (yes, I gave it a twist) so if you have thick/frizzy/course hair you essentially need 2 packages (expensive) also with that many in your hair you cannot really lay on them and actually sleep. Even with the proper hair product if you run your fingers to separate the curls it just looks frizzy and prom like. I bought the barrel curls and it still came out like 80's hair and the curls fell out quickly. Looking back at all the youtube videos I watched before purchasing, they all had finer hair so it worked great for them. As time consuming as this is, it is way more time efficient to just use a curler with proper heat protection spray and technique.

More Pros Than Cons
We used this product on my 7 year olds fine hair. Her hair length is just below her shoulders.The instructions could be better but after putting a few curlers in we only hit one or two snags. She did not sleep very comfortably while wearing them. The curls turned out wonderfully and she said the uncomfortable sleep was worth it.

Great curls!
Works great, especially since I have very long hair that won't hold curls beyond 5 minutes. These are definitely not easy or comfortable to sleep in, but the curls are amazing and last for several days! I use these on my 11 year old daughter as well.

Don’t rush using take your time putting in
I have used more then once to get a better idea of how it works before writing this. It takes a little work and at least my hair didn’t curl much without using hair products while putting in as well as while taking out. They do pull at night and are a little uncomfortable but not that much. Overall I’m getting better and do love using them.

Buy these if you want big, pretty curls!
These are actually really great! I am a black girl, and my hair is dense and naturally curly. If you have a lot of hair on your head, I would recommend getting a 2nd pack or a smaller top up pack. I probably need 30 for my full head. But I would definitely say get these! They give your hair a big break from heat, and (if you use a good mousse) the curls hold up fabulously. A great purchase

Love these!
My daughter and I work as a team putting these curlers in. Her hair is long enough for her to sit on. It only takes us 20 minutes to do her whole head. She has average thick hair. We did not need any extra curlers. The curls were beautiful and thick. They lasted a good portion of the day. We did use hair gel on her hair before putting the curlers in.

I used onceI have thick hair and they work way better with a head dryer because sleeping in them did not work for me.They kind of hurt since I had the entire bag in no hair. I Think I will need to order another bag because I needed about 5 more.
