Excellent product for cats with dermatitis or post-surgical wounds
Our cat has allergic dermatitis. She overgrooms/scratches and does not tolerate collars well. She tolerates this suit very well (after a brief sulk) and we found size L perfect for an adult 5kg cat. The design means we can check her skin easily without removing it. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who has a cat with dermatitis or post-surgical wounds.

Fit well.
Fits very well on my 5 month old kitten. She is absolutely fine with it on. No fuss of getting it off her. I would recommend a bigger size for an older cat. It only really just fits her. If she was any bigger than it will be to small for her. I bought a size medium.

Great!
Cheap and cheerful. Good quality. Does the job. I got a tiny elastic band and tied a bit of the neck a bit tighter as it was too loose. But other than that she's managed to go to the toilet and sleep and walk fine. Dispite thinking her legs don't function as soon as we put it on her. We got a size SMALL and she is a tiny kitten. She's 20 weeks and weighed 1.8kg.

Soft, easy to use
I was looking for a solution to the “Cone” which I knew would cause distress to the cat. This suit is ideal. Light, soft, easily fitted with the Velcro closure either to the top or bottom to alternate away from the wound area.I was pleased with this suit. However, no fault to the seller my cat wouldn’t tolerate anything. Tried the donut collar also the cone she was going to do more harm. we decided best to leave her cone/collar/vest free. Hence we have to watch her for licking and tugging. If you have a cat more docile than ours this is the perfect solution.

6 month old kitten needs medium size, do tighten the neck collar!
Tilly had her spay and wasn't getting on well with the lampshade, so I bought her this instead. She wasn't completely happy with it last night when we put it on her, but by this morning she's got used to it.She's just shy of 6 months old and is a slim little thing but I opted for the medium size as she weighs about 5lbs. Fit is great, the small wouldn't have gone round her. She can move normally in it and it doesn't seem to bother her now she's used to it. Stretch is good, and it's nice and soft. When we first put it on her we didn't tighten the neck toggle and she managed to pull it off, but since we tightened it it has stayed put well and she hasn't tried to remove it again. The only negative I can see is the velcro strip down her back is very stiff; I think that's the bit she dislikes as it took her a while to get used to jumping in it.Apart from that it is doing its job of keeping her from licking her incision, and she can eat and drink and cuddle me much easier than with the dreaded cone!

Awful quality and fit - DON'T BUY. Leg holes completely different sizes
As you can see in my photos the leg holes are completely different sizes from the left leg to the right leg. I'm honestly disgusted that a product aimed at helping keep a cat comfortable after surgery has such poor quality. This is actually my second top from them, the first top I had to return because the velcro was hanging off due to poor stitching. I thought this would be a one off but it wasn't. Shoddy product, do not subject your cat to it, I'll be sewing my own post surgery top for mine instead now. One that actually aims at comfort and a good fit. Furious.

More comfortable than a plastic cone after operation
Got this suit in size medium and lilac for my wee kitten for her getting dressed. I used the size chart and roughly measured her back length to get correct size. I handed the suit to the vets to put it on her after her operation instead of the horrible plastic cones. When I picked her up later and still a bit groggy she had the suit on which fitted perfectly. She could still go to the toilet no problem and didn't seem to mind wearing it at all. And most important it covered her stitches so she couldn't scratch or bite them. I kept the suit on until her stitches came out, think it was 10 days. It was looking a bit bobbly and started to fray a little where she had been trying to clean herself. Would definitely recommend them much more comfortable for them to wear. Ps she looks a bit fat in the second picture but that was right after op and think there was a bit gas in her tummy ❤️

Kitten not comfortable
I’ve got mixed feelings about the recovery vest concept. We bought it as recommended by our vet as an alternative to an Elizabethan collar - this brought my hopes up. However, my kitten didn’t feel comfortable wearing it and was never able to get used to walk with it (though I appreciate that to allow for full recovery, reducing their mobility must play a role?)I found it difficult to guess size - I bought an M for a 2 kg kitten. The holes for the back legs were too big and she kept getting her legs stuck, so she struggled to walk and even had to drag her lower body on the first day - this would have suggested the size was too big? However the “neck” area was a bit too low and actually covered her front legs joints - this suggests the size was small?! This was after realising I had been putting it the other way around, but the same sort of size issues happened anyway. She did make a mess in the litter tray when it was the other way around, but this was my fault not the product’s.She figured out how to get rid of it on day 2 (as soon as the anesthetic effects ended I guess) and on day 7 when we finally decided she didn’t need to wear it anymore she was incredibly happy. To conclude, if your vet recommends it then follow their advice - but be aware that your kitten may be a bit gloomy while wearing it!
