Very durable
When opening up cheese I’d like to seal it with wax paper because it last longer works

Good product I'm sure but shipping left something to be desired...
Product can't go wrong, being the waxed paper that it is, however the end of the box was not sealed and a good 1/4 of the waxed papers were outside the box on their own. I had to stuff the outside waxed paper back into the box and then tape the end of the box shut so that I could begin to use the product as intended. I have to hope that the waxed paper that was out of the box was not exposed to any substance that would contaminate my food products that I intend to use with the paper. Wish the shipped product could have been handled better. Such as sending a fully closed box, but oh well...

Great for Bible Journaling Art Projrlects
I bought this specifically to use for my bible journaling because I did not want to color directly on the bible pages. Plus I love that I can see the words through the wax paper. The bible page is smaller than the wax paper so I have to cut it in half. This is perfect because that means I have doubled the amount of wax paper to 1,000 pieces; this makes it a great value for the price. I use Markers, Crayons and Hilighters on the wax paper and it really makes the art pop. I would suggest coloring with the wax paper on a blank piece of white paper as that serves two purposes; to allow you to see your design better and it will catch any bleed through from the wax paper. However, I really have not had a lot of bleed through with the markers I have been using; maybe a few dots here and there. As a precaution, I always color with it on blank paper before gluing on the bible page. The wax paper is also great for printing on it. I like printing on it rather than tracing or drawing on it just because I find it easier; but its fine for drawing and tracing. Since I had to cut it in half for the bible page, I came up with a paper guide to help me to print my design in the right spot on the wax paper. I use the guide to tape the wax paper on it using painters tape and then sending it through the printer. Judging from the wax paper weight, I would not suggest sending it through by itself or it will definitely get stuck in the printer or crinkle up. I always send through the printer on the guide paper. I also love the way the wax paper comes with one edge scalloped and I use that as part of my design for the outer page of the bible. You will have to figure out the correct side to print on the wax paper if you plan on using the edges as part of your project. I suggest making sure you tape it down properly or it will crinkle going through the printer and may mess up your design. I have had it crinkle the wax paper but it did not bother me because I just straightened it out and filled in the design with a pencil or black fine point marker. I have not used water based paints on it so I don't know how it would hold up if you use water based paints on it. However, the Markers I use dry almost immediately and do not smudge. I would also suggest that you are gentle and be careful with the wax paper as it tears easily because it is thin. I have had a few minor tears which did not bother me because it was while I was taking off the painters tape. And I just trimmed it off. Overall, I love this wax paper for crafting. I gave it 5 stars because I am very satisfied with the end results.

I have been searching for these for 2 years. I used to buy them at Costco and finally found them online. Precut and the perfect size every time!

Not like the older product
Ordered to replace depleted supply. The packaging looks identical, but the product is different. Been using these daily for years in the kitchen for all types of food prep. These are more like the thin wimpy sandwich wraps you get at the deli not like the older, more sturdy, product that used to come in the same exact "looking" package. Even marked "Heavy Duty". Can't somebody out there understand that product quality matters to consumers. Really disappointed.

great for wrapping sandwiches I
I have used the paper before. I usually wrap in the paper then the tin foil like a restaurant. It is also good for wrapping little bits of produce like onion or tomato then on top of that I use plastic wrap on top of that. Keep the item dry and usable. We live in a humid climate and everything has to be wrapped carefully to preserve. That is why I like the paper. It makes things look professional. I also use it as an underliner when serving appetizers. bon apetit!

Pricey, but convenient for covering food in the microwave
We keep a box of these near the microwave and use a few sheets every day. These sheets are just the right size to lightly cover foods we are reheating. It cuts down on spattering and reduces microwave cleanup. We also use these sheets once in a while for a quick utensil or spoon-rest to keep grease off our stone counter tops when the regular spoon-rest is in the dishwasher. These sheets are convenient to use, but are a bit pricey for wax paper.
