Powerful and Easy to Use!
This electric fry cutter is amazing! It sliced through a jumbo russet potato without a hitch. I started with the 1/2" and 3/8" dies, but after seeing how well it worked, I went right back to Amazon and ordered the 1/4" one too. Definitely worth it if you make fries!

Worth the money, easy to use.
I love this 1/2" cutter. i think the 3/8 blade would be too small for most things. I did a lot of research before i bought this electric one. i have bad hands so anything that can make my life easier, i think is worth the cost. most people said when cutting sweet potato you need to nuke 3 minutes, however i only did 1-2 minute (depends of size of potato) and it worked great. (you do need to nuke because the machine will struggle and maybe break). it is a breeze on regular potatoes (no need to nuke them). i cut up a 10 lb bag of white potato in like 5 minutes. it took more time separating the fries by size and vacuum seal into meal size bags. (There is only two of us) i did not have any waste, the smaller side and end pieces got cut up for hash. depending if you don't care how small your potato pieces are for potato salad, i first run the potato in the slicer once and then i cut that potato in half when it comes out of machine and then put it back in machine sideways and run it again. that way the potato is cubed small. sometimes i still have to cut smaller for my potato lumpia, but it saves me time starting with small cubes. i also cut up zucchini for baked breaded zucchini sticks, so good. cleaning is a little bit of a pain because you have four screws and washers (12 little pieces, so easy to drop in the sink) on the front of blade to take off before you can get the blade off to clean. but after that its easy. you just hang the machine over the sink to spray the pusher off (use a toothbrush for the crevices) the blade was also easy, just be careful. DO NOT let things dry on the blade, i can see where it would be really hard to clean then.

Not perfect but better than expected
I read some reviews on some other potato cutting machines and was not too impressed, but also realized that there were not a lot of really good videos on the products being sold so I decided to make one for this product. Most of the parts seem pretty decent enough, but the cast metal cutting plates were a bit of a letdown (I thought they would be solid steel), but at least they’re not plastic. The machine is pretty easy to disassemble for cleaning, but some parts may not be as easy to clean mostly because they’re not removable like the mechanical push plate mechanism. The push plate part that touches the potato is removable and cleanable, but the plate that’s behind it is part of the machine and if potato got in there, it would be a little hard to clean out. I wouldn’t recommend putting any parts in the dishwasher at all. There’s no Hall effect sensors, or any protection against smashing/cutting your fingers off in this thing so I wouldn’t recommend letting young children operate this machine at all. Honestly, I think some adults should not even use this machine LOL, so if you’re one of those accident prone people this is not the device for you. My best recommendation would be put one hand in your pocket at all times, use the other hand to put a potato in the machine close the door and then use that same one hand to operate the controls. Never put more than one hand near this thing when it’s in operation and or plugged in. The machine seems solid given its plastic construction, but it’s not too heavy for someone to easily move from one part of the kitchen to the other. Let’s just say it’s a lot harder to move a Cuisinart or Sunbeam mixer than this machine but it is still a lot heavier than a toaster. I don’t quite know how well it would cut potatoes, but I didn’t see another video review showing potatoes being cut so I don’t think that’s going to be an issue. If there is an issue with cutting potatoes, I will update this review. Given from what I know now I would buy this unit again just from the fact that it has a Usted power supply and construction is pretty sturdy and the motor seems pretty strong, let’s just say that I was unable to stop it with my hand for a brief moment just to see how strong it was (with the cut plate removed, of course ) and it doesn’t seem like anything‘s gonna stop that motor, the motor didn’t even sound like it was being bogged down no matter how hard I pushed back on it so that motor is really strong, like hydraulic press, strong! I have a handpress unit that does the same thing but it is made out of plastic and I think I’m gonna break the thing when potatoes don’t go through easily. Plus, I’m getting a lot older now and it’s getting harder to push those darn potatoes 🤨 I do not think that will be a problem with this machine any more.

Simply AWSOME!
A bit expensive but worth it. The motor does NOT bog down when you put big Rusett potatoes in.I do fresh cut fries so I don't peel.I got the unit with both size cutters 3/8 and 1/2....I use 1/2 for fresh cuts. The machine MUST BE CLEANED after each use...takes about 5-10 minutes. Be careful when taking off small wing nuts and tiny washers..don't lose them or machine won't be usable. I stand the machine on it's hind end by the plug in part and that way parts don't fall as easily when removing. Take the cutting blade assy. off and rinse it thoroughly with hot water for a while. Don't use bottle brush on cutter cuz it will tear the brush up. Use the brush to wash the plastic press part that forces potato through the cutter. Wipe down the inside with cleanser of choice or just water do NOT submerge machine.Put cutter back on then washers then wing nuts tighten alternating until snug. You're done! I tell you these steps to save time and possible headaches later. If you DON'T CLEAN THE CUTTER the potato juices and skin will glue itself to the cutters!

Great french fry cutter
This is a great french fry cutter. The only downside is that it is quite big and bulky, and you have to have room to store it. However, it sure beats a manual cutter.

This excellent electric potato cutter works wonders!! I am sad to say my counterspace cannot accommodate it. Emailed Seller and promptly responded and provided me with an excellent offer which I could not refuse ad hopefully he will keep his promise. This machine is a monster eating machine, cuts through like butter on russet, hard potatoes like sweet potatoes with ease. No more pushing down on manual machines, fries getting stuck or broken blades. Easy to clean - just a few butterfly nuts and a few "o" rings. If you have broken many cheaper versions the cost of those machines could easily add up to the cost of this machine. Mind you, it is expensive but honestly, its well worth the money in the long run. Very happy with machine and it's extremely fast!!

Had a manual one before which was a pain to use. This makes fries much easier. I removed the stainless steel plates and the plexiglass plate. these are for safety of course but for me easier to use and less parts to clean. well built and easy to operate. love it.

Great product so far. Make sure it has the attachment you want e.g. thick steak fries cutter. Also if you're doing sweet potato fries, make sure it is straight as it's cut. If it is lying at an angle, it eill be pushhed against the side wall and bend it because it's harder than a yellow one. If the potato is too big to fit straight, just cut it in half.

I am very pleased with this product it is extremely smooth to use and makes cutting fries a breeze. Some purchasers claimed it was difficult/time consuming to clean. I found if you just rinse the dirty ends under the spray nozzle, you do not need to take it apart each time to clean it. Great product.
