They do the job slightly better than my other picks
When I took up the banjo recently, I bought some metal fingerpicks and grabbed the thumb pick I was using when I played slide guitar. It was designed to be a combination flat/thumb pick. I found this difficult to use while learning Scruggs style banjo. The Dunlop pick is a bit longer; I am missing far fewer notes now. (Maybe because I have more practice?)For the record, I find large picks unsuitable. These medium picks are a little tight but not uncomfortable.

Nice thick sharps.
I bought these to play around on a bass. It's a good thick pick definitely remember shell as a kid. Anyways I think you'll like them if you like thick sharps picks. Because the other brand arrived first I found these a bit too long for myself simply due to I took to the unusual shorter pick right away. I know I have small fingers. They fit me snug. I suppose that'd be the toughest thing, to find the right size. Mine fit as expected.

Great thumbpick.
Fits my small hands great, just wish the tip was a tiny bit shorter. Stays put without strangling your thumb. Sound and feel is excellent. I like it better than the ultex version (which is more brittle and pointy than the shell plastic).

They work well for me
These are a really snug fit for me. Nice feel. Great price.

a bit too tight
i thought they were going to fit good but they were to tight on my thumbs and this is coming from a short a slim guy. my thumb would get cold because of the loss of blood circulation

Highly recommended!
Hadn't used these in years & decided to try them. I like the sound, look, & fit of these (I'm a man with small to medium size hands). It's hard to keep the right thumbnail long enough to fingerpick with good bass string articulation, & once you get used to a thumbpick, that problem is solved!

Saving my fingers!
I love how this just clips onto the end of my thumb, making my ukulele playing so much easier!

Indispensable

Perfect fit and they will last a very long time
Good quality and great sound. Takes a bit of getting used to if you have never used these before, but the tight fit and great smooth surface makes them a joy to use.

as expected
I've been a guitar player my whole life, and am new at the banjo.Based only on my limited experience, these picks seem good to me.Note: My hands aren't particularly big, and these medium picks are a bit small for my thumb. I guess I'll need to buy some in the large size. (I don't know what pick size guys with LARGE hands buy. hmmm... Maybe guys with big hands don't play the banjo?)Update: I stretched these out a bit by submerging them in boing water for several seconds and then putting them on the handle of a butter knife. They now fit perfectly. If you do this, be careful not to stretch them out too much. Just a little bit might be enough. Also, only leave them in the boing water briefly. I ruined one by leaving it in for about a minute. That was way too long.

Un classique
Onglet qui fair bien le job.

works a treat
Worth trying even if its just to see the difference without a thumb pick. I found a couple of variations simply because of the defined bass strings. I think these picks are good but can't see much difference with other brands as its just a piece of plastic!
