Q: Are these sulfer / silver dioxide free? I just want to make sure that's the same as sulfite / preservative free.

Sunsweet D'Noir prunes are the best of the many brands of prunes I've tried but found too hard/dry/fibrous or overripe/gummy. So when Sunsweet's Organic D'Noir are not seasonally available, I buy Sunsweet's Preservative-Free D'Noir instead of another brand organic. Both Sunsweet Preservative-Free D'Noir and Sunsweet Organic D'Noir are free of added preservatives.☺

Q: D'Noir makes these prunes available in two forms "organic" and not organic (packed identically but not labled "organic"). Which are these?

The ones I received stated they were organic. I also noticed they appear differently than the non-organic prunes and they tasted better than the non-organic.

Yes, the prunes we received WERE organic :), sourced from Argentina with an expiration date 9-10 months from purchase date. Excellent taste and quality!

I have ordered these and yes, it is for 12 bags and the packaging matches the organic version. The packaging matches the photo shown. I have reordered these several times as they are hard to find in stores.
