Not into the hip hop, but...
"You" I saw James Arthur on American Idol. His deep voice was beautiful. Had to hear more. The first cuts were disappointing. Not into that hip-hop stuff. Okay, so I'm 70, but I've heard enough good music in my life that I know what I like. Then 'Homicide Love' played. Yeah, now we're in my lane. The rest of the album was excellent. My kind of music. A little bluesy, a little laid back.

the real James Arthur
Breathtaking, evocative, stunning: you don't just listen to James Arthur's music, you physically feel it - it's like a drug. Some people still dismiss him because they think he took the easy route; this is far from the truth as his fans know, not that it should be relevant. His voice is like balm for the soul. So many beautiful songs, for me the standout tracks at the moment are 'Breathe' and 'Fall'.

Epic...brilliant...and heart felt!...
After being totally bowled over by "Back from the edge" I have only just got round to buying James Arthur's "You" album and I'm again totally in awe of it! An epic 17 track collection of new songs with a different vibe from its predecessor but, razor sharp lyrics and the unmistakable tones of James Arthur's amazing voice. Written from the heart and from the school of life, had me in tears a couple of times with the songs "Maybe" and "Fall"...on my fourth straight play through of the album as I write this and so so so glad I eventually bought it.In a word...Brilliant!

Best music by James Arthur so far
Beautiful cd. James's voice is outstanding and I wish I'd purchased this when it was first released so if you're a fan of James Arthur then it's definitely one for the collection. Soulful, honest and a little sad, if you read the book "back to the boy" then the songs in my opinion will relate to this.

Enjoyable album
Enjoyed this album from the first play and it’s only got better with subsequent listens. Typical James Arthur style with some strong songs. There’s only one track I generally skip which I think is good for an album.
