Disney The Little Mermaid Ariel Wand Costume Accessory

The wand itself is flat, which is sad because it would have been amazing if it was rounded. I decided to buy this wand as a base for my fairy godmother costume for a musical. So far it's pretty sturdy, it hasn't fallen apart. The little centre picture/plastic is held on with a zip-strip, which is odd, but that's okay since I plan on taking that part off and putting a gem there.The only thing I'm worried about is if the top "shell-like" thing, it might be flimsy. Mine doesn't seem to be yet, but I'm still very cautious. All in all it has a perfect length and the centre is pretty solid.

I felt Clare's costume was as complete as I had planned but after seeing this, just felt had to get it. It helped set the whole image of Ariel the Mermaid and Clare absolutely loves having all the parts to her costume for her upcoming bday party.

Totally worth the $5 I paid. I would even pay 10. Its held up way better than the other plastic wands that come with the costumes that peel and break easily. So far this has stood up to much wand waving and magic ;) The wand tube is a strong acrylic with the sequins inside and seems to resist bending. The beading is very pretty and matched the crown from the same Disguise brand as well as a perfect match to the Disney store Ariel costume.

I thought that the top of this item was going to be 3dish like an actual crown top or a scepter- when it came it was flat and not what I expected. It's cute for it's purpose but If I knew it was flat I would have spent the extra 5 bucks and bought the light up one from Disney.com directly. It is also made with that wire material so if you continue to try to shape it accurately it is only a matter of time before it will break. Also the picture of Ariel is NOT centered and only held on by some glue that also hold on the bow and the ribbon. The bottom is also open so your child can pull the green out of the wand if they would like. I am disappointed it's cheap. I thought since it was a Disney product it would be better but it should be at the dollar store.

I got major points when I got this for my 3 year old princess. It presents well, and I even suggestbuying a tiara and red wig to go with it...some of my reviews are harsh, but my daughter loves this itemso I can't say anthing bad about it, it's strong enough that is probably won't break easily and well, I'm a softyso everything princess gets bought whenever requested...I'm glad I bought that trio of items, and the company dida really good job getting it to me in just around 4 or 5 days. Good company.

I got this to go with my toddler's Ariel costume. Yes it's cheap. I don't need or expect it to last longer than Halloween week. She loves it and it looks cute with her costume so that's good enough for me.

This product is very cute and my litter sister loves it , made cheap like most children's toys but the price matched the quality.

I bought this for my niece for Christmas along with the costume, wig and some other items - she loved all of it. The wand itself is kind of cheap, but she loves it anyhow.
