Lightweight, blue foam mat.
I needed a cheap camping pad and that's what this is - a cheap camping pad. It's blue, I don't know where any foil is, it's foam, and it's lightweight. I can't really say that it adds any comfort to sleeping on the ground unless you plop down on a bunch of rocks or pine cones, but when I used it I was on highly mulched leaves (very soft ground) and this thing did very little other than maybe provide a barrier between me and my tent floor. I suppose it would be an advantage to have if the ground was ice cold, but it was summer in Georgia. It's also pretty lightweight while also being a decent size (I'm 5'10" and about 210 lbs and fit on it fine). Rolls up easily and has removable elastic loop straps to keep it that way. I don't guess it's any bulkier than similar other items, regardless of price. It's held up on a couple of trips out now and I have 3 of these - my two oldest boys (6 and 9) have one each. They've got their fair share of scrapes and abrasions, but have held up so far (the mats, not my boys). I don't expect this material to tear very easily, so should last a while.I've since gone to a hammock, so don't really need this. If you need comfort, move along. If you need something to provide an inexpensive barrier, then you could do much worse.

Just a blue pad
The description for this product consistently mentions "convoluted, molded and foil laminated". To be clear, this is JUST your typical blue foam pad. There is no egg-crate/convolution and no foil lamination, despite what this description and the pictures on the packaging imply. What arrived was a typical light-weight blue foam pad--72in x 20in x 0.375in and 0.75 pounds. This information appears on the package with a box next to it checked, but also the information for the foil-laminated version and the convoluted version appear on the package. Confusing. The pad itself is exactly what you'd expect from those blue pads--really lightweight, resists water, puts a small barrier between you and the ground for warmth and some minimal comfort. The elastic bands that go around it are not attached to the pad, are easy to put on, and hold it snugly. It was priced exactly in line with other blue pads, so I'm going to keep and use it, but just thought maybe this was going to be more special based on the description. Over all, I give it an "OK".

the foam is sensitive and scratched pretty easy. I can see this lasting a few ...
Took this mat camping, it got the job done. However, there is no foil layer on this. Its a basic foam mat. I used to for extra padding on my cot for a camping trip and it seemed too get the job done. Just be cautious, the foam is sensitive and scratched pretty easy. I can see this lasting a few trips more, thats about it. May or may not buy again.

Standard foam pad
Product description described it as laminated with foil, I highly doubt that. What you get is a bog standard blue foam bed roll, nothing fancy. Worked well for my backpacking in the cascades, not the most durable of the cheap foam mats but kept me warm on nights that dipped below freezing.

Just Ok
3 stars. It's okay, not great. It's what you can expect for this price. The mat is a bit thin and there is no flective coating like the description says

Nothing Special
This literally was just a blue pad. It was very lightweight, but there is no foil lamination on it. I returned it so I never had the opportunity to try and see how well it worked. If your looking for something simple and cheap this would probably work for a one time use.

It's a blue sheet of pure foam
There is no foil lamination, just a regular blue sheet of foam but it's very light weight and fairly compact.
