Prismatic 18" LED Halo Bi-Color Ring Light Dimmable 55W 5500K, Ballhead Mount for Camera, Carry Case, Diffusion Plates

I saw this on youtube when I was searching for a light and shotgun mic. This halo ring had a great review so I decided to buy it. Good thing I did because it is great. I shoot videos in an office that has zero natural lighting and poor lighting at best. This light solved all of my problems with a quickness. I like the fact that it has the white shades (not sure what they are called) that go over the light and even out the distribution. Another great thing is the ball mount that is attached to the inside of the light. I am able to attach my camera and my mic wit no issues. Right now I have the light setting on top of my mic stand and then the camera and mic attached to the center of the light. Another feature I like is that you can dim the light to the level that you need. I usually keep it on the dimmest setting since I am pale and it makes me look even more white lol. Anyways, this Halo Ring Light is awesome. If you don't have one, I promise you wont regret getting one.

I bought this from a recommendation on YouTube and am pretty satisfied. I can't give it 5 stars because I just found there is an identical product on Amazon for $100 less and it looks like the only difference is the name on the bag. Looks like the same plastic construction though. Honestly, if I was paying more attention and found that the other one had 118 reviews as opposed to this ones 4, I would not have bought this product.

Update: The first ring I got would not work and I made the return. The company did all they could to keep a good name in my eyes. I recommend the LED light from this company. Works great and it gives you that natural light you need. I use it for photography and videos. Could not be happier

I used to have older style studio lights which cast uneven light and created odd shadows. This is the exact opposite. Even, precise lighting, very little shadows. Works perfectly and is easy to set up. Dimmer switch works well. Never going back!

Died After 6 Months very moderate usage. I used this ring light a couple times a week for a couple hours each use for about 6 months. Then all of a sudden, while in use, I heard loud pop and the light dimmed to about 30% brightness and hasn't been able to go above about 30% since then. It's broken. It lasted 6 months with very moderate - to minimal use. I thought it would last longer than this especially considering the minimal use. I do not recommend and would not buy from this company again. Not a durable or quality product.

The best part of this light ring are the mounts at the top and bottom. I have a cellphone and iPad mount that I plan to use with it.I didn't purchase the stand because I already had a stand that came with a green screen I recently purchased.

This light is not bright enough, the top is too top head for the stand and it's unusable, very unsatisfactory. The quality is shotty.

Has anyone else had this problem - I have just set up the light with a separate stand I bought elsewhere but have not been supplied with the adaptor plug. How am I supposed to charge it up?!!!!! (UK Customer if that makes any difference - it shouldn't)
