Just not made long enough for hip or low cut jeans

This is the third one of these Timberland belts I have purchased in different colors which is to say that I really love them. The leather is thick, but supple, and not stiff. The width, length and fit are as stated and true to size. It is difficult to find a women’s black belt with a gold buckle and this one is perfect. The keeper is actually three criss-crossed keepers indicating it’s a women’s belt for sure. It doesn’t have an odd odor, just the smell of fine leather. It will definitely last a long time. You will probably want to purchase more of these nice belts just like I did!

It’s a little stiff but that’s fine. The color is slightly reddish brown.SIZE UP - Size 10 get L - if you are 12 to 14, get XL, Lack of size chart combined with relatively small length of belt deducted 1 star. I am generally jeans size 12, occasionally 10 (Size Large belt pictured w size 10 Lee jeans sitting slightly below natural waist). The 1st useable hole is 37.5”. That’s fine for high rise or natural waist, but barely works for jeans that sit below waist. The entire belt is punched which I like for looks, wear and flexibility, also lends to sizing up.I am keeping because it’s a great quality belt from a reputable maker at a fantastic Amazon price. And XL might be larger than I’d like. But another 1” or 2 longer would have been perfect.

The belt has stayed in good condition for a long time, I love the color and thickness of the belt.

Okay, who needs a belt? We all do. I liked the way this looked and I defiantly wanted a leather one. For years I've used belts by Lucky Jeans. They are great, and last for YEARS, but money is tight, so I spend $10 less and bought this one. BIG MISTAKE. I can already tell after using it one week it will not last more than 6 months. I should have spent the extra $10 and bough with tried and true Lucky Jeans. I can't return it because I threw away the bag it was shipped in. Bottom line, if you want a belt that will last for a good long time, this is NOT the one for you. IMO.

If I could give no stars I would. The belt was used which was not how it was advertised and not only was it used but it was in terrible condition. It was cracked, faded, bent. I wouldn’t give it away for free.

I wasn’t sure what would happen when I ordered this. I used the sizing instructions here and I would have been a Medium if I wanted a belt similar to my 34-36 belt. But I read reviews it ran small, so I ordered the Large. Here’s the deal - I measured it and the Large has an absolute max of 36”. I like to wear my jeans around my hips, which means I am not buying my true waist size but something larger to allow for that. I can live with this and it will be nice if I ever want to pair it with something at my true waist as the smallest hole is at 30”. So there you go, the actual measurements of the Large belt is not 36-40, it’s 30-36. Please purchase accordingly. Otherwise, it’s great to find a genuine leather belt rather than all the plastic.
