This makes hardboiled eggs so easy and fun!
This is such a great invention! It makes boiling eggs so easy and fun. I pop the eggs in, place them all at once in the water, and remove them with a potholder when finished boiling.FUNCTIONALITY:-You need to be careful putting the eggs in the penguin wings. They are easy enough to spread, but I wouldn't try popping them in. I think they are strong enough that you could crack an egg.-I didn't need this, but it makes boiling eggs more fun and easier. It is safer than trying to gently put the eggs in the pan one at a time. It is certainly easier to remove them.-It fits in a pan capable of boiling 6 eggs at one time perfectly, with room to spare. My lid was only slightly cocked to the side which is fine by me. The handle stuck up out of the water and was easy to remove with a silicone potholder.-My favorite aspect was being able to lift it straight out of the boiling water and directly into a cold-water bath. You MUST cool them down before trying to get them out of the holder.CUTENESS:-I'm not a penguin fan per se, but this is just too cute. VALUE:-This kitchen gadget is worth the money in my opinion. It makes boiling eggs more fun and easier.

Use it all the time. Totally stops the eggs from breaking as much clanging around the bottom of the pan.

Cute but probably not necessary
It's unique but you have to struggle to get your eggs out. Also you have to use a bigger pot than you'd normally use to boil 6 eggs. But it's a cute way to store hardboiled eggs. Its a little pricey for an egg holder.
