Look before you buy
Product arrived,first thing you notice is a strong pungent smell of dampness/mildew odour coming off both pairs of trousers. Obviously they are kept and stored in damp conditions prior to dispatch.Second, they dont offer combined postage so more than one item the cost increases.Thirdly the fit is not as expected, these were ordered larger than required and they are extremely tight fitting on the waist.To add insult to injury, the customer then is required to pay for the return postage costs which when added with the original costs deducted means you lose around £10 in money to return goods not fit for purpose.Amazon should not allow this to happen

Hubby is an old fashioned kind of guy, who loathes the new "hip hugging" trouser styles of today so, he loved these and they fit perfectly! It is great to find that this kind of style may still be found for the older chap. 10/10!

Watch the waist sizes. For me a 48 inch waist is too tight and a 50 inch is a little baggy.
The trousers are fine; smart enough, and hard-wearing. I wear them almost exclusively. Since my waist has shrunk, the 50 inch waist is a little too slack and the trews are baggy around the seat. Thinking my diet was working well, I ordered more cords in a 48 inch waist. Sadly, these are too tight and won't meet around my middle. I expected to be able to suck in enough to get into one size down, but it isn't to be! As I am too old to worry about a bit of room at the rear, I will stick to a 50 inch waist for now. These cords are certainly comfortable to wear, and I will continue to shrink my waist, and order more pairs of the bigger size, until I can get into the 48 inch pairs! ! for now! I like to vary the colours too BTW!

Appear good value ....
I can usually get away with a 32" waist but found the 32" waist too tight with these cords. So I exchanged for a 34" waist and even that does not need the belt when worn. So I've marked the waist 'fit' moderately small, (leg length fine)... That said, they appear nice cords and reasonable value considering what you can pay elsewhare .... In style, perhaps better for the middle aged + man. Would consider them smart/casual and now have three pairs.

Rubbish.
The cords said belted. Arrived without a belt and when questioned was told no free belt. It should not say belted. Very rude. I would've expected an apology and sorry for the wording. Will not buy from this seller again. Ordered for an elderly neighbour as the shops are shut and were not allowed to travel. Very thin material and threads hanging everywhere.

Very disappointing
Pocket developed holes after 1 days wear, as it was on the poorly sewn seam I repaired it myself. Cords looked great but after the first wash had shrunk, making them very much shorter, overall very disappointed. I would not recommend or purchase again.

Good Value for money
I bought these for a friend of mine - I bought the size that he thought he was and found to be slightly tight so ordered the next size up and found to fit perfect. Has noticed that it did shrink slightly when washed but not enough to make unwearable. Very pleased with the quality considering the small price. Hence have already purchased 4 pairs of these trousers . Recommended

Just what I req'd now winter is coming /since my initial review, wearing them during cold spelI I have found them a terrible buy. side seams & crotch seam coming undone .very poor mfg.
