In my experience this is THE BEST drug store option. It is very similar to the Benefit They’re Real Mascara. Builds on itself wonderfully making lashes look long and thick. I use the waterproof one and I use argon oil to remove it instead of makeup remover (to prevent fine lines). Such a good mascara for an incredible price

This is a fantastic mascara, especially for the price. I’m 44 and have hooded, aging eyes and had to switch from my go to mascara to tubing or waterproof mascara to avoid raccoon eyes. I have tried so many and find tubing mascara is heavy for my lashes and they always lose their curl. This is the exact kind of wand I like. I have long lashes but as I’ve aged they have thinned and this mascara produces thick, long, but defined lashes (no spider lashes) that don’t fall and stay looking like I just applied hours later.

This brand is fine and stays on well. Changed to this product after another company changed their waterproof formula, and it smudges. 5-2025

Ive always loved this mascara. Ive used it for many years! The wand really does make your lashes spread out and full looking. I definitely recommend! Also the price isnt bad either! : )

This is my favorite mascara!!!! Seriously, so good. Separates, lengthens and adds volume. Great price. Doesn’t clump or flake. Just get the mascara!!!!! This photo is of my daughter for her Halloween costume. So good!

I waited to make a review for this, I purchased last year and tried several in between my repurchase. I love this mascara! It is truly waterproof and smudge proof. I will say as with any lengthening mascara, put your first coat on light and start at the base of your lashes moving to the top, do the same with the other eye while the first eye sets, then go back and build on your first coat. I usually only have one light coat and a normal coat per eye per application! This does just as it says, I highly recommend!

This mascara seems pretty good. It's a trusted brand and works well. It's not amazing, but it looks good and doesn't clump.

This mascara is wonderful (waterproof version)! A lot of people complain about how it doesn’t remove, but if you use an oil first (I use squalane oil) and massage it before using a cotton pad with micellar water, it will be gone completely. I really like the volume it gives, and some might say it gets clumpy but you really need to get some of the product off before applying it. Also I recommend at least 3 small layers. Start with curling your lashes, then apply only on the ends of the lashes, then the second layer apply on the medium length and the ends, then the last layer apply at the base. This way, your lashes will stay curled. My lashes are quite long but so straight and facing down. It is very nice, the lenght and volume it gives is awesome for the price. The only thing is, it can flake if you have big cheeks. When I tried it at first, it flaked a little bit because it was in contact with my cheeks when I was closing my eyes. However, I lost weight and it doesn’t flake anymore (or rarely and not much at all). If you don’t like this one, I bet you will like the L’Oréal million lashes waterproof mascara. It doesn’t flake, like never, it’s not as hard to remove, doesn’t clump (silicone wound), it gives nice length and very defined lashes. It however lacked in volume and that’s why I wanted to try this maybelline one. And so happy I did, because I really enjoy it! Totally recommend if you are using an oil cleanser to remove your makeup!

Couldn’t give physically give it a one star. The product I received was watery and unlike when Iv bought it in the shops, also didn’t seem to dry properly then I had a reaction to the mascara.
