My daughter loves it
It was very hard to brush my 8 year old daughters hair prior to these brushes, its very fine and knots easy. She has a sensitive head so brushing has always been a challenge. I was surprised that both brushes worked differently, I figured one would simply be a smaller (travel size) but I found the larger one worked better with wet hair and seemed to pull just as much as any other brush would when dry. Where the smaller one works better on dry hair and didn't seem to de-tangle well when the hair was wet. I am glad I bought this brush, for the first time in 8 years It doesn't hurt to brush my daughters hair. It does take a little longer to work some of the knots out, but its worth it.

Amazing Brush!
I love this brush. I have very thick, coarse hair and this brush glides through my hair without much effort! Detangling for twist outs isn’t a long process anymore and I don’t loose as much hair while detangling. This is the best brush I’ve ever used, especially since returning to natural 😊My only con is that the brush feels a little awkward to hold. I sometimes have to hold it by the side but once you use it a couple of times you’ll get used to maneuvering it.My 7 year old niece (who HATES detangling) said she loves this brush too because it’s gentle on her hair. The color is beautiful as well 😊 I highly recommend this brush.

Works so well brought a second one.
Brought one of these brushes last week and use in my sister's hair she's a 4b hair type and tender headed . The brush guide through her hair and didn't whine once.

Detangles but feels like a toy.
The brush does what it says. It gently detangles my long hair and works equally well on wet or dry hair. It’s easy to hold and fairly easy to clean. That said, the design of the brush is unappealing for a 20 dollar product. It has a toy-like plastic feel, more like a prototype than a high-end styling tool. I was expecting a solid brush, but it is hollow. If you can overlook that, it does detangle hair when used as directed.

Great Detangler for Fine Naturally Wavy Hair
I had another de-tangling brush where the plastic bristles were breaking off so i looked for a better quality one. I like that the bristles of this brush are inside of individual holes rather than on molded plastic fixed on the base. The design seems to make them sturdier. I love the shape of the travel brush-- very easy to hold in my hand. I wish that the travel brush had the same design of having individual holes to hold each bristle but instead it is molded plastic. I hope it lasts a long time. So far this is my favorite hair brush set. Ouch free brushing is always a winner.

I'm A Believer!
I'm A Believer! I have been using the original tangle teaser for years and just didn't see a reason to get anything else. Recently, I started watching natural hair videos on YouTube which prompted me to try the Denman Brush as well as the Michel Mercier Brush. The reviews online encouraged me to get the Thick Hair version. I used this brush on soaking wet conditioned hair and it went through my tangles with ease! The Denman brush works but it pulls at times without as much flexibility. The Michel Mercier brush is flexible, it has various length bristles that reach tangles to the scalp, it's ergonomic, and easy to use. I started from the ends up and it took a total of 7 minutes to detangle my entire head of hair. I have long thick curly hair that tends to tangle no matter what. I am now a believer that this brush delivers the results that it claims! Perfect transaction with the seller and product arrived in perfect condition.

Difficult to clean, slippery handle, not that gentle
I reallyyy wanted to like this brush. BUT the big handle is a strange shape that isn’t easy to hold and gets super slippery when wet. The bristles (on the fine hair version) aren’t as soft and flexible as the original tangle teaser brush. This brush is also pretty difficult to clean the hair out after using. All around just an ok brush, and definitely not worth $20
