Awesome Cocoa Drink!
I gave up sugar 5 months ago and found this cocoa powder as an alternative to dessert. It’s awesome for someone who has lost the taste for overly sweet things, I now have developed a new sweetness level and checks all the boxes! For the people out there that want a real sugar type of cocoa this is not your drink! Although I’ve never had it cold I highly recommend heating your milk and adding the cocoa powder after. My favorite recipe: 2 heaping teaspoons of this1 tsp real raw cocoa powder1 tsp of “Dandy Blend” another dandelion and chicory root powder (similar to a coffee taste) best for dark chocolate and coffee lovers!Method:heat 1/2 real coconut milk, and 1/2 almond milk 2 minutes in microwave, add the mix of powders and use a hand held frother to mix and create a nice foam on top. You could use this as a morning coffee alternative too, it offers great pre-biotic support and also help with sugar cravings. Over all I feel like I’m cheating and getting a delicious treat at the same time!!!

Tastes more like chalk than chocolate
I only gave it 1 star because I could not give it any less. If this product contains cocoa powder, imho it does not contain much. First, I used it in coffee to attempt to create a mocha and it tasted nothing like mocha at all. We thought at first that it did not taste like chocolate because my husband makes pretty strong coffee, so we made a plain cup using the recipe on the side of the jar. This tasted like nothing at all but water, except it was slightly sweet. The jar said it had 22 grams of carbs per serving and a cup of real cocoa made with 2 teaspoons of sugar, one tablespoon real cocoa powder and one cup of milk has about 25 grams of carbs, I am a type I diabetic and bought this thinking it had less carbs ("guilt free") and that it would be a decent tasting cocoa without the sugar. Well, there must be some type of sugar contained in the ingredients in order to bring up one serving to the level of 22 grams of carbs, so the "sugar free" here means no table sugar, but it doesn't appreciably lower the carb count or calories from what you would make with milk, sugar, cocoa and a bit of vanilla. If you really want lower carbs, use a sweetener like Splenda instead of sugar and for a real treat, sneak a little tiny bit of honey in. If you mix it up yourself, you will burn more calories than you would save drinking this garbage. I bought 2 jars and threw them both away.

I Didn'r Feel Guilty as I Drank The Whole Damn Container....
I like chocolate, bu tI am not supposed to eat sugar so I am always looking for the sweet, rich taste of chocolate without the sugar monster. I am skeptical of the monster free brand, but i thought i would give this a try and it was delicious. Once I started drinking this brand of Hor Cocoa, I couldn't stop. I went from 1 cup a day to 4 or 5 cups a day in no time flat. I liked it so much that it was gone in no time flat. Does this make me a Hot Cocoa addict? Probably - Next time I will just order more. I highly recommend this product.

This is great! With only 1g of sugar and oodles of fiber, it has a great taste. Hot cocoas with artificial sweeteners make my stomach hurt; this has no artificial sweeteners or sugar alcohols. Like any real cocoa mix, you do have to stir vigorously. Put cocoa in dry cup, fill halfway with hot milk or water, stir until dissolved--gives you room to splash a bit, try a fork or small wisk, add remaining water and stir. As for negative reviews--yes--there is a slight flavor of chicory, but it's SOOOO much better than aspartame! Of course, if you're comparing it to gourmet real melted semi-sweet chocolate cut with real cream, no instant mix will meet at taste. But this product isn'5 just neutral health wise, it's a great source of fiber. I'm thrilled with this product; give it a try!

No difference from real Hot Cocoa
This is a great low calorie/sugar replacement for hot cocoa. It tastes just like the real thing, though not as sweet; that's easily fixed by adding an artificial sweetener, however. My only complaint is that the instructions suggest a crazy powder to water ratio; something like 4 tbsp to 1 cup. I cut it down to 2 tbsp and it works nicely. Aside from that, it doesn't dissolve into hot water easily. The first time I made it, I only stirred it for a few seconds, and ended up with a lot of grit. I've since learned that you need to stir it vigorously for a minute or longer to make it fully dissolve.

Yummy, for those that are sugar-free
Its best with about a tablespoon or more of heavy whipping cream (HWC) or some sort of creamer mixed in. It's a bit watery if you don't add those into it, but still tastes good for those of us who are truly sugarfree. It takes your taste buds a bit to adjust to a sugarfree lifestyle. So I couldn't see this being super tasty for someone who still has sugar in their lives. Just don't think it would be sweet enough. Maybe I'm wrong, to each their own, just my recommendation :)

Sugar Craved Son Loved it!
My nine year old son LOVES hot chocolate. It is my mission to cut down on his sugar. So, I tried the 'Just Like Sugar' hot chocolate and he loves it. He's been asking for more but I only bought one. It's a very nice way to cut down on the sugar your kids are consuming and still give them some of the treats they like.

Great but price is now too high to reorder!
I love this as a replacement for the normal hot chocolate full of sugar. Not as great as sugar of course, but it satisfies my craving! Although, I will not be reordering until the price goes back down. This new price is too much!!
