revising prior review
I purchased 2 bidet seats for master bath and kids bath. We were not able to find good online instructions for usage and learnt by trial and error. Initially the "T-joint" was missing for one of them but customer service at Bidet4me was excellent (via email). They mailed the T-trap free of cost immediately. would give 5 stars for customer service. The drawback is that it is a small seat, makes your toilet smaller and pretty sure won't work for a bigger butt. The plastic material for the seat is cheap and looks like it might crack especially with a heavy person or kids careless usage. So far the kids and I love it because of the clean and new concept for us but unsure how long the seat will last.

Wonderful, won't be without one ever again!!!
I bought this product with both reservation and apprehension. After it was installed it was all over. I won't ever own a home without one. My teenage daughters love it. My daughter went to college, she misses it very much. That was after much teasing for buying a 'girlie toilet'. The assembly was completed by a plumber. Two important things to note.1) You need an elongated toilet. I was replacing an existing, so that was not a problem.2) It requires a grounded outlet, with GFI. The power and water input comes out of the right side of the seat, as you are facing it. I put in a whole new circuit, under the sink cabinet. Drilled a hole in the side to fit cord.It has many nice features, including 'turbo wash" which is basically an enema. Kids setting is nice for beginners. Temp of the water and dryer are adjustable. So is the spray pressure. It is a standard toilet seat, so if your butt hangs over the side of the seat more than 1-2 inches, get the remote. Not my issue, but referred the product to my barber and and his big butt wife. They got the remote, she is happier.

Heaven in the bathroom
A couple of things you might like to know: when you are sitting on the toilet, the electric cord - which needs an approved GFI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) bathroom outlet is on the left hand side of the seat. You will probably need an electrician but you won't need a plumber to run pipes - the water is supplied by the toilet and the tube is easy to install. This seat is big (thick and high) so it looks a little out of place on a small toilet. HOWEVER, next to our heated floor, it is the best money we spent on our main bathroom renovation. My husband didn't know these seats existed and he is a very private man, but even he talks about the wonderful features of the bidet seat! He especially loves the heated seat. And the spray is fabulous - like taking a shower after you go to the bathroom but you don't have to move - just press a button and heaven! The seat will probably pay for itself in no time with all the money we will save on toilet tissue!By the way, contrary to other reviews on this seat, there is NO wireless remote control included with the E200A

Functions, but low quality and no real warranty..
The seat itself is great. I was pleased that it functioned as intended, providing the hygienic and clean "Japanese Bidet" experience. I would have rated 4 stars (minus-1 star for the "cheap" feel to the seat).Until it started to leak...inside the device. I now have ruined base board due to water damage. When I contacted the manufacturer all they did was send me a you tube link (with no English instructions) and the part. I have to rip the toilet apart and try to fix it myself. So, for no parts AND labor warranty: 1-starI will buy a known brand like toto next time.

Works great
I travel to Japan quite a bit for work. You have these bidets all over the place there and I've come to love them. This works as well as the units I've used in Japan and I am really happy to have one in my home. Upon installation, do be aware that there are two options for attaching the water connector to your existing system. One is an odd thread (typically european) that I could not use... And one that fit my system perfectly. The one that works in the US is the one with the mesh filter. But, once I figured that out, the installation was extremely easy. Highly recommend this.

For wet bathroom floors
Bought an identical bidet as a replacement thinking the first failure was a fluke. Installed the replacement and within a week it too was leaking. Since I don't need two leaking bidets, I returned the one that was still in warranty. As a side note, the water pressure on the second one seemed far greater than on the first one. Does that speak to quality control issues? I guess it really doesn't matter if they all leak.

highly recommend
This was very simple to install and worked perfectly the first time we used it. And, months later, it is still working perfectly. To be sure, this is a great item for folks who are disabled or very overweight. But, in my opinion, it's something everyone should consider purchasing. It's much gentler than using tissue (causing less damage to the sensitive skin, um, back there - which means you're less likely to have troubles like hemorrhoids, fissures, and incontinence as you age).

Not the same as a real bidet, did not work out
Unfortunately, this did not work out for us. It was very hard to install (the instructions were very unclear) and is made for a small toilet seat. We bought this for our master bath, which has an elongated toilet and it does not look right at all. The return period for this seller is very short and we had bought the item during construction so do not buy unless you are ready to install right away. In the end, it's a loss of over $300.
