Indeed, the previous reviewer is incorrect. This is a pretty good deal because it's all included (film, post paid envelope, development, digitization, and the film returned to you for projection and/or editing). That is a good deal and remember, the worst shot Super8 looks better than the most expensive digital. That is only my opinion of course, but I'm right.

Super8mm film is such fun to shoot and look at
Getting it developed and scanned for easy viewing is great. Looks so retro. Service from Pro8mm is great... not a quick process, or inexpensive, but great.

Professionals Can Pass, Newbies May Want To Start Here
I've spent a couple of decades shooting super 8 (and more recently 16mm in the last 6 years) off and on with everything from Kodachrome and Plus-X (when those were still being produced) to the newer Vision 3 stocks. If you shoot lots of film, it would probably be best to just get your film and send it to you preferred lab for processing and scanning. It can come out less expensive doing that. However, where this package does shine is for newbies, or those that don't shoot lots of film. I needed film in a pinch and I picked up this and the Bright Sun (50D) from Amazon. Shot both rolls and sent them in to Pro8mm using their pre-paid envelope. Once processed, links were emailed to me and the film returned on small reels.Notes:Return shipping to Pro8mm is pre-paid, but there is not tracking. This is via snail mail, not Priority. You can upgrade on your own dime if you desire. I sent each reel in its own envelope. One got there nearly 2 weeks later after I received the first processed roll back. This is where tracking may have come in handy for $80+ each.Files: This is where Pro8mm is wonky; they offer 720P files. Using the Lasergraphics Scanstation, a 1080P or 2K file should be the bare minimum...But, you are getting a "package deal", so many using these kits may be new to shooting super 8 and is a decent start. If you are trying film for the first time, received a new-to-you camera to test, or just need something in a pinch, go for this. I'll be passing in the future unless I need film "next-day."
