Wide Platform Digital Body Weight Bathroom Scale (400 lbs, 4.3 inch LCD) - Black

This is a great scale for the price. I use it a few times a week to monitor weight loss / gain. I have confidence knowing that it is consistent and dependable.The weight takes about 5 seconds to register - the numbers fluctuates within 1 pound when stepping on, and you must remain still until the number on the display starts blinking. At that point you can step off of the scale and the number remains on the display for about 20 seconds. Stepping back onto the scale after the display turns black then results in the same reading almost every time. Also, no need to tap a foot onto the scale to wake it up. Just stand on it and remain motionless and wait for the reading.Another thing I like about this scale is the width and length - I'm 6'2" with size 12 feet that are wide. I don't have an issue with foot space, width of the scale, or covering the display when standing on it. I've never once felt like I was swaying / going to tip over, and I've never had an issue with accidentally stepping to close to a corner / side of the scale and had it tip over - meaning the rubber feet underneath are nice and close to the corners making for good stability.I use this on a hard tile floor so I can't speak for use on carpet or softer materials. Also it doesn't have bluetooth or wifi connectivity - those things didn't matter to me, I was looking for size, a nice display, and consistency. If these are qualities you are looking for (as well as a good price point), this scale is a great choice.

My new scale arrived when promised and in good shape. When I first stepped on the scale it said I weighed 113 lbs. Now, that would be lovely but is, sadly, far from accurate. I suspected the problem might be the slightly uneven surface I had it on. When I switched it to the tile floor in the bathroom it read a much more realistic figure, and no, I'm not telling you what that was but it was significantly more that 113. The read-out dances around for a bit before settling on a weight which it then pulses at you. With these old eyes, I like the large, bright read-out. I'm guessing the black glass surface will require frequent cleaning but it just shows what my old scale hid. It takes 4 AAA batteries which is more convenient that the unusual type batteries in my old scale. I've only had it a few days but so far I'm quite satisfied.

Great scale, I love that I do not have to tap it and wait for a zero. Just step on and it gives a reading within 2 seconds. This should be the standard for all scales as saves a huge amount of time as 5-10 seconds of extra waiting everyday adds up!The reading stays on the screen for about 20 seconds before automatically turning off. If you want to re-weigh or have another person use it you simply have to tap the surface to re-zero. The blue lcd looks sharp but is slightly difficult to read unless at the correct angle.I paid full price for this product. We've had this scale for about 2 weeks, and so far so good! I purchased this scale because birthing websites recommend weighing yourself and then weighing yourself with your baby to check your baby's weight, so wanted to make sure I got a really accurate scale (or at least one that gives me the same reading in at least two consecutive weighs). I always read all the 1-star reviews for a product before deciding whether to buy, and if the problems noted in the 1-star reviews are serious enough or consistent enough, I choose not to purchase the product, even if it has 4.5 stars out of 100+ reviews. I was on the fence about this scale based on the other 1-star reviews, but am glad they proved not to pertain to the scale we received.The product arrived two days earlier than expected, came with the necessary batteries, and worked perfectly upon first use. My husband, brother, and I all weighed ourselves twice to make sure we got the same weight measurement each time, and we did! For some reason it takes a while to secure my husband's weight each time he steps on the scale - it always fluctuates 0.2 - 0.4 lbs in difference and we don't know why - so he stands on the scale for up to 15 seconds sometimes before he gets a settled reading, but for my brother and myself it takes fewer than 5 seconds each time. This hasn't changed since we got the item, and since my husband doesn't care too much about his exact weight (0.2 - 0.4 lbs deviation is not that big a deal to him), we like the scale just fine. The bright blue LED screen is quite bright, though, and stays on for about 30 seconds after use, so I just wouldn't weigh myself in the middle of the night after using the restroom, since it would definitely jar me awake. The scale is very lightweight and thin, making it easy to transfer between different bathrooms/hard floors.Would definitely recommend!

The scale looks good, but I can't have a scale that gives unreliable results. I was not looking for a fancy scale, all I wanted was reliable weight measurement. That is not possible with this scale (at least the one I had!) I was immediately suspicious when I first weighed myself and the weight was 4 pounds more than my normal weight. I got off the scale and waited for it to reset and got on again to find that I had magically "lost" 2 pounds. I then waited for the scale to reset (which actually takes a LONG time - but not long enough to lose 2 pounds!) again and weighed myself again and amazingly I had "lost" another pound. I tried multiple readings several times over the period of a week and NEVER got the same reading 2 times in a row from this scale. I did contact the company and they were very accommodating and immediately refunded 1/2 of my money in case I decided I didn't want to bother returning the scale, but also included a prepaid UPS return label to send the scale back for a full return of the purchase price.
