I received Legacy Brand which is the current picture
Updated May 26, 2011: the picture now shows Planet Waves brand and not Legacy brand. No wonder so much confusion!I don't know if it is the various sellers (three listed as of today) or just a varying stock situation, but it is funny reading these reviews because the picture on the web page, the Amazon descriptions, and the actual product received by purchasers are rarely the same item. When I bought these five weeks ago there was a different picture (Live for Music brand if I remember correctly) and a different name in the description. As of today, the picture shows Legacy brand, the product I received. Still, the Amazon "Product Features" section states you will receive Planet Waves picks in sizes that are different from what I received. Further down the page, the Amazon "Product Description" states you will receive Legacy brand, and the sizes mentioned there are what I received (0.46mm, 0.71mm, 0.81mm, 0.96mm, 1.20mm, 1.50mm).For what it is worth, I have no complaints about the quality of the Legacy picks and the variety to experiment with. They do have a nice pearloid appearance as well. It is a shame that customers may not be getting what is pictured or described though.

You Could Do Worse
The picks I got definitely don't say Legacy on them, but the whole reason I ordered them is because I needed quantity, not quality, so it doesn't matter. I'm constantly losing picks so I thought it'd be best to stock up so I wouldn't run out for when I really need one, and this seemed best so I thought I'd give it a shot. For ten dollars, I'd say sixty picks is a pretty good deal. Where I live, the only place that sells picks charges an arm and a leg for them - I once bought twelve picks for ten dollars ON SALE there. I was desperate, though, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered - so it was definitely better than that. Of course, I don't know what most people normally charge for picks, but for me this was definitely a steal. It's been almost a year since I bought these and I've lost a bunch of them, but I've got plenty left, so it's all good. As far as playing with them goes, it all depends on what kind of mood I'm in, but for the most part I'd have to say the light ones treat me best, followed by the medium and then the heavy ones. The designs and colors are really cool; my little brother loved them so much I had to give him about ten of them just so he'd shut up and leave me alone, and he doesn't even PLAY guitar! For the money you spend on these, you could definitely do worse. If/when I ever run out, I'll probably come back here to buy more, unless I find an even better deal between now and then or a brand I like better, which is highly unlikely, but not impossible.

No problems for me. Great picks!
After using Dunlop picks for years I decided to see what else was out there. I ordered Fender variety pack of picks, Planet Waves variety pack, and this Legacy Pearloid variety pack. These are the ones you want! The Legacy picks look higher quality than the Fender picks, and there are more size options than both the Planet Waves and Fender picks. With these you get various sizes, whereas with the Fender and Planet Waves variety packs on Amazon you just get three sizes (thin, medium, and thick). These picks are also very nice looking. There is no correlation of look and thickness. (i.e. With dunlop all the red picks are the same size, all the orange picks are the same size, etc.) With Legacy the silver pearoid may be any thickness. That may matter to some people. I ordered two sets and received what I ordered, and there were 60 picks in each, so no problems here! Beautiful picks! Both of my orders came from "The Instrument Store, LLC."

Lots of pick sizes great price bad smell
Lots of different sized picks for a great price. The smell though.... some weird menthol/camphor i dunno but it was very strong. I washed them a couple times which helped a little and I have left the bag open to air out for awhile. There were 60 picks, six different sizes, 10 of each size. I posted a pic of half of what I got because I already split them with my daughter. Even though they smell bad, if I needed more I would probably buy the same ones.

Ok Picks
These picks come in a large range of sizes, but most of them are way too thick to play any guitar with. There is a really funny smell to these when you first use them that gets on your fingers, but it goes away after a bit. They seem to be decent quality. The thin picks have not torn on me yet and the medium gauge picks dont wear down too quickly. These are ok to have around the house to play with but I would not recommend them for live performance.

Not as advertised but not bad for the price
First, the price is nice for so many picks. That said, the picture shows Legacy and I received Planet Waves brand for half of the picks and no brand for the rest. We received .46 blue pearl, and .70 red and white Planet waves picks. That's all. There were no other sizes included. My review is just adding to the other reviews to maybe let people know that the shipments are inconsistant it seems. Still....it's a great price for so many picks. I'll just be more careful to email and ask first than to rely on the wording of an ad in the future.

Did not get the right amout.
I received Alice picks just like pictured even though the desription says Legacy brand. Brand doesnt matter to me being Im just now learning how to play and dont know anything about the brands yet. It did make me mad when it says 10 each of each size and didn't receive but 5 of the 1.5 and 4 of the 1.2. I may not even need these sizes, I dont know, Im just learning. But when the description says Im going to get something I expect to get it. I have 60 total but thats not the point.

Nifty box!
I love it! I don't play guitar much, so I've always had a pick or two that I picked up from somewhere. This box with assortments of picks though lets me try out different kinds of picks and I'm figuring out how to use each one, or which ones I find compatible with how I play. I would really recommend it to beginners, since I am one and I'm benefiting from how variety of it, but probably for all guitarists since there's 60 picks. It's pretty cool.
